“Even the fortune cookies were bad--not even edible because they were so stale.”
“Food is fresh, more authentic home made dishes, like dumplings, scallion pancakes, sesame cold noodles and shimp toast seize my heart.”
TERRIBLE Food.
We ordered delivery from Chinese Musician in our quest for solid Chinese in Greenpoint. The person who took our order was rude on the phone, and when the food arrived, it was utterly tasteless, despite being drenched in sauce. I have no idea how you can have so much sauce but ZERO flavor. Even the fortune cookies were bad--not even edible because they were so stale.
I wouldn't recommend eating here unless you were starving to death. You're better off going to the bodega next door to get a piece of fruit or something.
Something new in traditional chinese food. I am surprised to see the new changes from traditonal Chinese food in Chinese Musician. Food is fresh, more authentic home made dishes, like dumplings, scallion pancakes, sesame cold noodles and shimp toast seize my heart. A good mix of mayo sauce and mango or lychee flavor give a new taste to Fried Shrimp... Noodle is not necessary to be lomein only, I have a wide choice from curry noodles soup to stir fried rice noodles in Singapore style, from Wonton Noodle soup to roast duck noddle soup.
Editorial Review. Quirkily named restaurant has delivered Hunan and Szechuan food to Greenpoint for more than 25 years.
