My whole life I've had to deal with really ugly glasses because my prescription is so bad. The guys at Flatbush Optical made me see really clear. Everyone say my new Ray ban glasses look good.
It s a very pleasant environment and the service is great too. When I entered the receptionist s were friendly, the doctor is one of the sweetest doctors I have ever visited in a long time and was very informative during the exam. I was VERY VERY happy with how the exam went. They have a lot of frames to choose from and I was very tempted to get more than one but I had to stay within my budget :(. They gave really great discounts on top of my insurance plan. LOVE the crizal coating and the transitions lenses I got, definitely check that stuff out.... Overall I would def. recommend the place and the doctor to my friends and coworkers.
GREAT PLACE!! I don`t know why you guys post such bad things about this place I`ve been there today and got my glasses fixed and Im so happy to save HUNDREDS of $ in a mean time got a minute to have a nice conversation with a doctor, which is, in my opinion very, very knowledgeable and helpful. I have NO idea where you all get this from.
I will recommend Flatbush Optical to all my friends
Thank you for taking care of me!!
Best Place Ever... – Honestly, I don’t certainly give feedback on any website and the only reason I’ m writing my views just because I do think the service which I received at the Flatbush Optical was an extraordinary and they definitely deserve to be mentioned . For those of you who have problem finding good Optical place and always search online like me, before even going for an eye exam and eyeglasses. The best place you can ever find is the FLATBUSH OPTICAL. I strongly recommend Flatbush Optical, which provides best services; treat you with tremendous respect, very professional, friendly staff and doctor who would do anything possible to make their customers happy. I’ve witness it myself when I was there 3 weeks ago without an appointment and needed glasses really badly because I lost my old pair since my prescription is really strong and I can’t see anything without my glasses, before even going there I Google several different places to see if I can walk in for an eye exam. Almost everyone is like oh we don’t take walk in plus its Christmas Eve therefore, we close early but the Flatbush Optical was only optical who didn’t turn me down. I’ve seen by really good doctor plus their opticians were really knowledgeable about frames and lens material and different types of coating what is out there and also they gave me really good deal on my glasses and the most important thing was that I got my glasses next day which seems totally impossible to me which they made it possible. Also it’s the best pair of glasses I ever had. I was really happy by getting VIP treatment indeed, they have very friendly environment and treat everyone nicely and trust me they all very nice people. God Bless them always… They are the best…
Always helpful and great products... – When you go someplace it's either because you like it, it's become habit, or it's convenient. My family goes to Flatbush Optical for all three.
My mom's been wearing glasses since the 1930's, and by now her lenses are both expensive and complex. Not only does Flatbush Optical keep her glasses affordable, by they get her progressive prescriptions done right. The one time they needed an adjustment, they took care of the issue without any hassle or cost.
My brother gets both his glasses and contacts there, and I buy my glasses there. We both tend to have at least 1 or 2 people with us when selecting glasses (we can't see the frames otherwise), and take at least 30 - 45 minutes to do so. Even at the end, the opticians are helpful and patient, offering us both their take on our choices, and suggestions about other frames which may fit our needs.
I just had another eye exam there (for both health and to start wearing contact), and the Dr. was nothing but professional and friendly.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE – This place is a very unproffessional place to go to. The new receptionist is very rude and doesn't show any kind of patience. The other guys are not that bad. Only one I can honestly say showed curtosy and that is the one who is very very slim. The doctors in there are rude. If you have a question regarding your eyes after the exam, it's like they assume you are suppose to know. The receptionist made a comment to me saying well you didn't pay half of the amount of your contacts so how can we order them. And I responded "so if I were to pay half, would you order them" . Her response was "We order them after you pay". She obviously just said that just to be fresh and rude. That is the most rude thing you say to a customer. Even if it's in your thoughts, you never say such a thing to a customer. I told her after I get the contacts, I want my prescriptionfor the lenses on paper in person and they will never seeme again. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE. THERE ARE OTHER PLACES THAT OFFER THE SAME PRICE AND BETTER SERVICE. A CUSTOMER IS SUPPOSE TO FEEL APPRECIATED, NOT RUSHED OR OUT OF PLACE.
AMAZING AMAZING PLACE!!!! – My family and i had been going to flatbush optical for many years! i would never think twice about going to any other optical or doctor! i had went there for my eye exam 2 weeks ago. i had called the office on saturday, they had told me that they are fully booked for the day but they will still see me on that day. i had a problem with my insurance company and they had went out of their way to help me. when i arrived the office was very busy with patients. they had told me that even if they have to stay behind they will still see me since its an emergency. everyone was very nice, they had spoke to me with respect and treated me as their family member and not just a patient of the street. Although the office was full, the Dr. did not rush me or cut the exam short. the dr. understands that me asking questions or the doctor giving me the attention i need will slow down their schedul, but they want to make sure that the health of mine or other patients eyes are very important. The DR explained to me all the options about the lenses and eye drops that will help my eye condition and had advised me to return in one week to follow up with me. my eye had healed in 2 days!!! i was suffering for 2 weeks before i came to flatbush optical. all of the patient are helped by an licensed optician. they have a great selection and they sat down with me and demonstrated all options that will help my vision. they showed me all prices and i got to choose. no one forced me or pushed me into buying anything. i felt very comfortable. i was in on saturday and on monday at 12pm they had called me to tell me that my eyeglasses are ready!! my family had moved to florida and twice a year when they come to see me, they come to here to get their glasses even to just put a screw in the glasses!! my whole building goes there!! NO MATTER WHERE THEY MOVE! I AM THEIR PATIENT FOR LIFE!!!
The worst! – Went there, was very dissapointed. The workers are rude. They pretend to be helpful, but do not really care about the people that come in. Run late on appointments, and then blame customers for their delays. They call u and send out appointment cards for u to come in, and treat u as if they r doing u a favor when u get there. Take your $ to another place.
Love this place!!! – Our baby was born with cataracts. She was ten months old when our doctor gave us a prescription for glasses. We then went looking for a suitable pair that would also be affordable. My wife and I were in shock when we could not find anything for our daughter. Not one place that we went to, made us feel like we were making the right choice for our child. Flatbush Optical gave us this feeling of confidence and reliability. Well stocked with beautiful frames, but the amount of knowledge and education that we recieved from the opticians about our daughters lenses was incredible. These guys are great and they really work quickly. They promised and delivered our daughters glasses that she is still wearing a year and a half later. Thank you.
