This guy knows his stuff! I had an amazing experience at this frame store. He recently framed our ketubah. So reasonably priced and talented. He knows his stock very very well (even though it is quite extensive) and he is willing to present all your options in terms of price, given what color/style you are looking for. This place just exudes creativity!! Good luck, San Art!!
- Pros: Very talented staff with an eye for what looks good
- Cons: So many choices
great framing, poor manners

I have used San Art several times, because they do good work, they are coveniently located, and reasonable. But everytime I was treated rudely, for ex door was open - so one would assume store is open - and I was told rather tartly to read sign and asked to wait outside for 15" (no problem waiting, but a little courtesy would not hurt). The atmoshpere does make you feel as if the store is doing you a favor.
A little Asberger-ish, I dare to say.
- Pros: competence
- Cons: how they treat customers!!
by far the best framer in brooklyn

i am always always extremely happy with the work that i have done at san art. The prices are amazing, especially considering how outrageous they are at every other frame store in the city. And in response to the nasty review of the owner, i hardly think it's fair of you to speak so negatively of this business because you felt bad about not knowing something. I find that the employees always know exactly what is best for my art and, even when i don't know what something is, are always happy to explain exactly what they're talking about. I highly recommend having all of the framing work you need done here.
- Pros: excellent work every time
- Cons: What are the drawbacks?
