Go Here for a Passable Haircut at a High Price.. Sometimes, when I cannot get a haircut from my usual hairdresser on short notice, I break down and go here, because the location is convenient. The haircuts here are done by amateurs and the prices are as high as anywhere else. The haircuts and the color are passable but never fabulous. I don't know how this salon has been able to remain open all these years. There is not one hairdresser who possesses the skills to give a knock-out hair cut. I should know because I have tried them all, and I keep on slinking back to my regular stylist at my favorite salon. If you want to look INCREDIBLE and not just so-so, go to Rapunzel Rapunzel on 5th Avenue, in Park Slope.

Not great. It's not a bad haircut really. Just not what I wanted. And I was very specific with what I wanted, with photos and everything.

Also in the back of my hair you can see lines where the hair is cut at different lengths. It's my understanding that a good haircut shouldn't show that kind of thing. I don't know if that's a result of laziness or just an amateur. Either way it's frustrating.

I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend a friend. But maybe it was just my stylist in particular. She did seem a little on the young side.

Karen you are the best..... My hair was in terrible shape and a friend told me about Karen from Salon Bohemia.It was the best experience. Karen gave me the best highlights and haircut i've ever had.She also took the time to teach me how to style my hair at home. Thanks Karen for everything............

Great!. Leslie is a wonderful colorist as well as hair cutter. Since I moved from Manhattan I have been searching for a great hair stylist and couldn't find anyone until I went to Salon Bohemia. They are very friendly and do an excellent job! Leslie really knows how to make you look fantastic!

Love it! And Love Leslie!. I recently went to Leslie after a friend recommended her and after I checked out the other reviews on Citysearch and I have to say she didn't disappoint. I have curly hair but like to straighten it sometimes which can make it sometimes hard to find a haircut that fits both styles. I explained to Leslie my ideas and what I like to do with my hair. She then cut my hair dry and when it was curly to make sure it layed nicely when I style it myself, then she washed it and blew it out to a beautiful sleek style that I loved showing off to my friends that night. Thank you to my friend and the others on this site for the recommendation that I will continue to pass on.

Patty is the one for me!..... I totally recommend this salon! i saw Patty and she really knows my kind of hair and she takes her time and saw things I couldn't imagine but I had total trust! It's long and wavy but my girlfriends who see her too recommended her to me and have WAY curlier hair than me and they always look great! This time my hair looks great too! Thanks!

Still the best after 8 years. I called up Salon Bohemia 8 years ago to ask about their stylists since it was close to my apartment. I was told Carlos was their best, booked an appointment, and have been going to the man ever since. I constantly get compliments on my haircuts and just this weekend a friend said my hair always looks great, thanks to Carlos. I have sent many friends to the salon and all have had positive experiences with other stylists as well and the hair washing/scalp massages are so great and relaxing. Even if you don't live in Park Slope, a trip to this salon is worth it for a great looking haircut.

Great Stylist, Not a Great Environment. The stylist are very attentive especially Aisha, who cared to listen to my needs and left me with hair that I find to be the best cut so far. But the salon is the typical stereotype of gossip and even though the stylist did a great job with the cut, waiting around to be seen and the staff in their own world gossiping about people in a disrespectful matter makes me think twice about going back. I do recommend Aisha, she was great and if you have the time to wait around bring an ipod or book.

great place. I must say that I have never been to a salon that made me feel so at ease. everyone in the salon where so nice and attentive. the shampoo was very relaxing. the best part of it all was how fantastic my haircut and highlights came out. Karen really rocks. She is very nice and takes the time out to make sure you are happy with your hair. Karen thanks for all your hair tips.

Best Salon in The Slope. I had a wonderful experience. My hair looks so much better than it ever has before. Really good shampoo, if you want a good hair cut and a great color go to Karen, she's totally awesome! :-)
