The best and coolest neighbourghood coffee in Park Slope. Both stores have their own and unique charm, while the 7th Ave location is more cozy and tends to get crowded faster (especially on weekends) is only due to the excelent coffee and funky ambiance that attracks everyone from movie directors, actors, writers, students, artists and people from all over.

They roast their own coffee on the premises so you can be sure that the coffee is always fresh and more importanly, equitable.

You can see the owners mingling around with the crowd and the people who works there most likely would now your name if you been there more than once. Apart from the wide selection of coffee and pastries you always get good and corteous service. The music is also great!

On the 5th Ave location you can find a more spacious and relaxed place where to study and have a nice chat, kids love it there too. Their coffee drinks are just amazing and delicious and with a very reasonable price. From their website or by phone you can also get your coffee ship anywhere in the US too.

Both locations are very well located in the heart of Park Slope, near everything so while you stroll down the beautiful streets and sidewalks of Park Slope make sure you make a stop at one of their locations to have the full Park Slope experience. You won't be dissapointed.

Awful coffee, neat location. I love the ambiance of this place, but can't the coffee be at least as average as the seating? I got an iced mocha here and it tasted like dirt. I literally threw it away when I got to Union Street. In the summer it's also a billion degrees inside. I wanted to like this place so much that I kept going back to it, I've tried all their iced coffee and a hot latte and all of it was either underwhelming or undrinkable.

Great coffee, So-So Service. The coffee here is fresh and the portions are generous (big "to stay" mugs, none of this "tall" nonsense), and the environment's nice. It's a great place to come and people-watch. But I agree with the other reviewer in that the service is a bit lacking - and it IS the women there! Every male barista has been friendly and made pleasant conversation, but the female baristas, almost every time I've been in, have seem irritated at my very presence. And if you take more than 30 seconds to order, get ready for eye-rolling and huffing.

Good Coffee but Service Lacking. I visit this coffee shop on a daily basis because I love the coffee but who is doing the hiring? The men that work there are pretty nice and helpful but the women are so rude. If you even get what you ask for then you're lucky. They act like they are doing you the hugest favor by taking your money. If they hate being there so much then leave!

Not quite wizard. The space is definitely a step up from the overcrowded, overtchotchked digs on Seventh Avenue, and the staff's more than accommodating to students and others hanging out for hours on the strength of a single cuppa, which give is a nice vibe. But the coffee's unspectacular -- generally tastes like the beans are stale -- and the nuked food less than inspiring.
