YUCK!. The only reason i've ever eaten here is b/c for some reason my mother loves their quesadillas. i've tried over the years to get a variety of different items in the hopes that i'll find something decent. no luck. their rice is always too hard, as if it had been cooked like 3 days before then reheated in a microwave. their black beans are OK but their chicken filling for tacos and burritos is very bland although it's drowning in some kind of reddish sauce. try the grilled chicken filling instead. also, the salsa is too chunky and bland as well. some of the WORST guacamole i've ever encountered which is a shame for a "mexican" place. any time i ever got a taco, the tasteless tortillas were falling apart and flaking because they were stale before being filled and couldn't handle the watery salsa. overall, disgusting but very cheap prices if that draws you.

Rudest service ever. As takeout, the food is great, but I've been seated here twice and both times they've gotten my order wrong, and both times (!) when i asked them to correct it they refused to. I'm a vegetarian and the last time when I ordered bean and cheese enchiladas they gave me beef. And when I asked them to make the switch, the waitress said she would bring me cheese to put on top of the enchiladas if I wanted her to. She was rolling her eyes, etc., and I was being very polite. I have never been treated that way anywhere.

Perfect LA-style burritos in PaSlo!. Its so hard to find good Mexican in New York but i was delighted when I moved to Park Slope and discovered Taqueria - perfect ingredients (including 4 yummy vegetarian fillings: rajitas (peppers), corn&hominy, spinach, mushrooms), excellent fresh chips, horchata and agua fresca... who could ask for anything more??

GREAT food!. This is some wonderfully authentic SoCal mexican here (if there is such a thing!) Good food, you can't go wrong with anything you order. Usually there's a line out the door, so plan on getting it to go.
