“My mother and I were two of five girls in the entire restaurant so that made me a bit uneasy, however, the friendly at home like atmosphere made me feel at home pretty quickly.”
“The menu is not vast and I would suggest sticking to the pork chop (which is a huge double cut) or a steak, either filet mignon or a rib, with either you can't go wrong.”
“The friendly waiter/owner guided us through a short menu.”

Like Sunday Dinner With the Family!. Every now and then, my Wife and I go back to the old neighborhood for a visit from New Jersey. The trip back would not be complete without pork chops and pasta at Two Tom's. Anthony and his Dad are the best, and the food tastes like it came right out of my Italian Grandmother's kitchen! The portions are so tremendous, we always leave with enough for dinner the next night at home. Everyone who eats here, keeps coming back. Don't pass this one up!…
to die for.
I live in marine park on the other side of brooklyn and brought a freind with me to try it out becuase of the good reviews this place has. i had the porkchop and my freind had the steak. my god the
porkchop was hugh and very delicious. it was bigger than the steak. and the price is very fair. $15 for a porkchop that delicious compared to a small porkchop that wouldve cost almost $25 with no taste to it. even their baked clams were pretty impressive. service was too freindly. ive been there twice and will make a thrid stop pretty soon.
thanks two toms you guys are great…
2 Tom's Restaurant. Love it! The food is good and the prices are just right. 2 Tom's located in the South Brooklyn Park Slope area of Brooklyn. I suggest you make reservations. The place is not fancy but the food, service is great! Pasta's are fresh and they give you plenty of food. Make sure you do not have any lunch before you go there because they feed you like Grandma use to. People are very friendly and the customers are like having your family over for the holidays. You won't be disappointed. It is just a down home type of restaurant.…
Two Thumbs Up For Two Toms. At first blush it may not look like it, but this place has it all. Wonderful food, service, and yes, atmosphere. Now why would I describe a place with fifties cheapo paneling, a sixties television set turned to sports with two servers/cooks/owners sitting in front of it, and a humming white refrigerator of uncertain vintage as having atmosphere? Well, where would Tony Soprano go when he wanted to eat and talk business? Where else could you enjoy enormous (we were advised not to order the steak for two because it covered the table and we'd have no room left for drinks or cutlery) portions of classic old-school Italian food and at the same time expect to see Michael Corleone walking towards the men's room? Would you rather not deal with a menu, but hear the offerings from someone who has been preparing and eating them all his life? It's not just dinner, it's an experience; one which I plan to enjoy again and again.…
Come hungry leave stuffed.
Our mid-week outing was a retro dining experience bringing back memories of 1960s home cooking in a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere.
The friendly waiter/owner guided us through a short menu. We had baked clams, mussels, stuffed rigatoni, chicken & their renown pork chops ... all exceptionally well prepared. Portions were super-sized.
It’s an ideal place for a gathering of friends and family. The lackluster lodge-like décor does not distract patronage as this place get very noisy place as the tables fill-up.
The very reasonably priced food along with the helpful and efficient staff outweighs any shortfalls.…
