“Great food, complex flavors, delightful atmosphere and really good prices.”
“from the pad thai, pad see yu, to the duck dishes and of course to the ubiquitious thai tea and coffee, Rice delivers good quality, affordable and pretty darn authentic Thai food in a city known for fusing it with every other imaginable combination.”
“the pad thai is great, and so are the chicken dishes.”
“This is a great reliable restaurant to have lunch in.”
“The service is slow and the waiters are not friendly.”

Best vegetarian basil fried rice in town!. Over 50% of my family are vegetarian, we always come here for their basil fried rice with seitan tofu, they are really tasty! They have great green curry too for those who can handle the spicy food. For us, their service is ok. Overall, i think they offer food in good value.…
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER service!!.
I'm tired of continued **BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE**...
*waited 1 HOUR for dumplings & spring rolls. ?!?
*they arrived BONE COLD & soggy.
*said they would 'redeliver' - waited 40 min.
*Called and they said the delivery boy wouldn't redeliver. ??!! (what?? aren't THEY the boss...and have hired HIM??)
*told them I wanted a refund -- owner HUNG UP on me.

BAD SERVICE!! be careful of this restaurant...they do not value "customer first"...…
Great Place. This is a great reliable restaurant to have lunch in. The prices are great, and you get a lot of food. The vegetarian options are also numerous and yummy. I loved the squid dishes! The food may be a little spicy for some, but overall it's a great place.…
WORST place EVER!! Beware!.
I love thai food and have been to many thai restaurants in both Manhattan and Brooklyn.
I went to Rice Thai Kitchen twice and both experiences were absolutely horrible.
The waiter we had the first time basically did not speak any english.
He brought me the wrong dish and tried to convince me that I had ordered it, by getting all worked up and pointing at his note pad!!
After much embarrising trouble, he agreed to bring me the dish that I had ordered, but by recycling the ingridients of the previous dish!!
We went a second time just to see if we might just have had bad luck the first time.
The second time, when my dish arrived it did not look ANYTHING like on the picture, had other ingridients and was just unacceptable. The waiter got hostile right away and told us we have to pay for it!
After much conversation, he still refused to accomodate us. He went back and forth to his manager who refused to take responsibility for their mistake.
We had to pay for their mistake.
All I was interested in was the principal, but to no avail.
Basically, this place has unexperienced waiters with lack of speaking/understanding english.
Management is extremely cheap and refuses to please customers.
I will NEVER go back!!…
Park slope thai gem. Another one of my favorite Thai places, this one is our favorite hangout after going with kids to Puppetworks in Park Slope. We actually did go there with a big group, and were seated promptly and served fast. The food was very good, all my friends were complimenting me on the choice…
