Everything works as a whole – I never have a dull moment in this restaurant. The food service all works in my favor. I have been coming here for the past 11 years. The staff is absolutely fantastic especially the owner great class and a sense of humor, very community oriented will continue coming here thank you for staying open.
Great food- great atmosphere for kids! – Two boots has a few locations/ The brooklyn location is better for kids/families- they let the children have pizza dough to play with ( like play dough ) and the have a very large menu so there is something for everyone. I bring the little guys I Nanny for here. They love the pizza. I love the calamari! I brought my parents to the Two Boots in the Village when they came to visit - we had a great time. Good food and sometimes they have live music too. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is it is very crowded so sometimes the service is a bit slow - -they need more waitstaff.
Decent food for eat-in -- Avoid delivery at all costs – My boyfriend and I ordered delivery from Two Boots last night because we have enjoyed the food there in the past but had just returned from a trip so wanted to stay in for the night. We were put on hold for 5 minutes and then the delivery took over an hour to arrive (we live within a few blocks). The pizza was cold and the Chicken Caesar salad had two nasty anchovies on it even though we had requested a hold on those. I was really disappointed in their service because I have gone there several times and been satisfied. I guess the moral of the story is to make that extra effort and pick up the food.
Overall excellent breakfast/brunch place – The nicest service, very good food, and the best damn bloody mary!!! Kids friendly, distinctive decor. Did I mention very reasonable prices?
Great food, solid service, awesome for kids! – I chose this place for dinner because of the other user reviews and once again the City Searchers did not let me down! The food and service were fantastic, my 3 loud kids were not noticed and my youngest even made a friend while waiting for the dough to be delved out.
There was a creepy crawly on the wall, welcome to Brooklyn... The kids thought it was funny, the server didn't notice and we just chalked it up to Slope dining.
If you're thinking of going, make sure you order the sweet potato fries, you won't regret it!!!
Local eatery – I live in the general vincinity and I love to grab a bit to eat here. From brunch to dinner.
Great for groups and children.Great place for health conscience eaters as well. If youwant to pig out you can as well. Great everything. Love it.
A girl friend of mine had her son's birthday party there. My mother inlaw had her graduation party there. I went to about 3 birth dinners there and every now and thwn have brunch there with friends.
Everyone there is friendly, accomedating and its great that we have this place in the community.
kids will love it – This is an extremely family-friendly place, fitting for the family-oriented Park Slope nighborhood. The restaurant is constantly crawling with kids, and tends to be noisy as a result. My little brother is a regular - the pizza guys even give him dough to play with while we wait for our meal. I'm a big fan of their po' boys and sweet potato fries.
Brunch is lackluster, but okay. – I tried Two Boots Brooklyn out for brunch last Sunday. I'm a big fan of their East Village location and their pizza. Was not too impressed. In my opinion, the quality is roughly the same as at your local diner. They do offer a twist on some of your typical brunch faves like french toast and eggs benedict, but when all is said and done, it's not THAT great. No beverages are included with your brunch entrees (which has become almost a standard everywhere else in the neighborhood). Not saying I had a bad experience, but it was just "eh". The dining room is cozy though, and seems like a good place to brunch with a large party. Maybe I would have better luck with dinner?
Them aint such po'boys after all – Two boots make a really good po'boy I highly recommend it. Yes there are a lot of kids in this place, but we were kids once too.
Po' boys and pizza pies in a funky, friendly neighborhood restaurant. – The Scene
Decorated with paper lanterns and twinkle lights, Two Boots' main room looks like a birthday party on steroids. Kids love the tabletop crayons and coloring books, but the real crowd-pleaser is raw pizza dough--lumps are available at the open kitchen window. The waitstaff is attentive and responsive, especially to kids' eccentricities, making this spot an ideal family destination.
This Cajun-Italian menu is lengthier than its Manhattan counterparts--here, adventuresome diners can still design their own pies, but they can also feast on oversized plates of peel-and-eat old bay shrimp and cajun spaghetti with meatballs enlivened with andouille sausage. Standouts include intensely-flavored ribs, excellent lasagna and crispy cornmeal-fried oysters. Most kids love the "pizza face" personalized pie, but there are plenty of other inexpensive options, from chicken nuggets to mac-and-cheese "Louise."
