SCAM ARTISTS. Took my amp in cuz it was on the fritz, and they're a Mesa Boogie Authorized service center.

i asked if i could plug in and show them what the problem was.

-- Nope, can't let ya do that. Just tell us what the problem is

I told them what the issues were and told them to check the LDRs and Capacitors

-- we'll look at the whole thing and make sure everything is working perfectly.

Come back about a week later. i asked what was wrong with the amp and what they did to fix it.

-- Dunno, the guy who worked on it isn't available.

Can i plug it in and check it?

-- NO, YOU PAY BENCH FEE PLUS 1 HOUR EXTRA FEE!!

got it home, and nothing was fixed.

sent the amp to a guy in New Mexico. got an email from him saying it was LDRs and capacitors that were not functioning properly

Amp and Guitar Wellness Center sat on my amp for a week and did NOTHING except charge me $180

Don't Waste Your Time. The Owner was rude and abrasive, when I (the only customer in the store), asked a repair question.

This is New York, there are 60 guitar shops in a 10 mile radius

Never Fixed Problem With Amp. I needed my vintage fender amp repaired. Amp had sizzle & crackle noises in background. I brought the amp in, they replaced some tubes etc... Picked up the amp, played it in shop heard some slight noise but they told me it needed to warm up, after while it seemed to work. Played on gig & rehearsal - same problem came back constantly.

Returned it, they covered additional cost of fix - but they never fixed it. When I picked it up, I asked to test it out and they had attitude & kept saying "not gonna happen anymore.." Played it shop for 15 minutes with no real problem but after I got it back out on a rehearsal it started up again.

Will not go back. Waste of time and money. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Great Amp & Guitar Repair Shop!. Never had an amp dinged up or a guitar for that matter.

They do good, quality work. Their prices are competitive.

You want the work done right or just cheap & crappy?

Sounds like the same reviewer had a problem with a guitar being scratched or something...Like i said,

I've never had a problem with ALL the vintage amps

that i have had serviced. I have had problems with other

repair shops in Bklyn & NYC, but not @ this one.

GO ELSEWHERE. don't deal with these guys. they will overcharge you and return your prized instrument with gashes and dings. they obviously have no consideration for other people's property.
