This place is right across the street from my house and it is a great bagel shop. Their bagels are homemade and I am absolutely addicted to their scallion cream cheese. Their prices are a little expensive ($2 for scallion cream cheese), but it's well worth it. The service is ridiculous, they have no real system of taking orders, ringing you up, etc. but the place is always packed. My only complaint is that it seems that in the summer, they don't toast the bagels because it's too hot out. I hate to tell you this, guys, but you're a freaking bagel shop. Toasting is a must. Despite that, they have great bagels and great specialty toppings.

ordered a sandich and a few pastries. It took forever for no reason. the place wasn't packed. A girl asked what we had, rang us up and handed us a bag with what we thought was our sandwich. At home we learned we were wrong. I took the sandwich back, and as soon as I returned with the wrong food one of the workers said "you grabbed the wrong bag" I said "no" he said, "well your boyfriend did." I said "we were handed this bag." someone else said they were sorry. I handed over the wrong food and got the right order. As I was leaving the same girl who gave us the wrong bag asked one of the employees if they were going to charge us for the first order that we returned. Are you serious? Get your act together. It's only sandwiches. It's too bad the food is good because the people skills are terrible.

This place rocks and it is a must to visit when in town. They are truly the Brooklyn deli. Don't be alarmed when you squeeze in the door and people are yelling for an order. That is NY. Their food is out of this world and you will get much more than what you pay for. I have enjoyed their huge bagels and their huge BBQ Hero. The Hero was so big I could only eat 1/3 of it so I gave the rest away and it only cost me 8 bucks! Don't miss this place!!!
