This and Leopoldi's Hdwr down the street, were my go-to almost every day when I first moved into the neighborhood and had to fix up my dwelling. I still go to these guys whenever I need something I can't find easily.

Don't know what happened to that other guy but I do know they can be tough--they have seen it all there and do not tolerate any crap. I've seen them eject people who were bothering customers, too. It used to be a wild neighborhood. Telling them they short-changed you would be fine but confronting them angrily is not a good idea. That's the case most places.

I can't believe they would deliberately short-change anyone because it is a small business which has been there for years. They rely on local goodwill and they do have it. Sometimes, some of the cashiers don't speak English well. Then you have to ask for the manager.

Buyer Beware - Workers are shady as hell. These guys are a-holes who purposely tried to rip me off by giving me incorrect change then gave me serious attitude when I confronted them...Harassed me in front of everyone. Didn't feel like dealing with it anymore so just left disgusted. I feel cheated honestly but if that type of thing is what they need to stay afloat then so be it. SHADY store... stay way

How do they fit it all?. This place really has everything. if your in a bind and need sheets.... THEY HAVE SHEETS, Light bulbs, brooms, office supplies.... everything .

How do they fit it all in there?. I love this place. They have EVERYTHING. I really can't believe the amount of stuff they fit in that store. I go in there for candles, kitchen wares, repair items, storage units, sewing stuff, sketch pads, Christmas lights, socks, underwear, tank tops . . . great seasonal selection as well and staff always friendly and helpful.
