Outrageous. My son has had items in storage in this pl for years..it's the worst place ever for customers service..people rude, unhelpful...they lie as well... Want to charge you over a hundred dollars to throw anything away in their dumpster. You forget your keys and they won't cut the lock like in other places...they will not even write down the name of a locksmith...oh yes, they will dictate it to you. Hope you have a smartphone or a great memory...How helpful..I'm sure they are getting kickbacks from the locksmiths...too..get a POD not this place!!

HORRIBLE!. The rudest, most unhelpful staff we have ever encountered, including the Manager, which explains the attitudes of the other staff members. Would never go back to this location!

Great Service. I was truly impressed by the crew at U-Haul. I knew I needed to hit the road early, if I was going to avoid traffic jams between NYC & DC. So I made a reservation at the earliest possible time on Saturday a.m. My heart sank when I arrived 10 minutes before then, to discover that ~10 people were already lined up at the door. BUT, when U-Haul opened (on the dot) they had THREE lines rolling right away. I was done with my paperwork in under 10 minutes and hit the road earlier than I imagined possible.

Good luck getting service. Try calling them. Going on hold and then being transferrred to the "National" answering service where you take a chance of getting someone with a brain answering the call. They have some good people there but also so absolute lulu's. 2 out of 3 were good the 3rd was dumber than dumb

Evil Evil Evil. I can't help but wonder if this u-hual actually trains their 'customer service' associates to make sure that the customer has the most frustrating, painful, excruciating experience when a) giving them MORE business by renting an ADDITIONAL storage space, refund for boxes not used, and giving the customer a hassle when the customer calls to let them know that they were mugged and the automatic payment will not go through because the thieves stole their wallet. Unbelievable! Only saving grace, the use of the space is TEMPORARY and hopefully will NEVER have to have contact with them EVER again. Truly truly sad. If you need moving equipment, supplies, storage, in the Park Slope area, DO NOT use this place. Trust me, it will save you major headaches.
