Top 3 on my list. I frequent about 10 different flowershops depending on where I'm shopping for the week. They're all around brooklyn, but 2 are in the city.

I have them listed in order from 1-10.. Wilinger is #3.

How does a flower shop top a list?

Well I take a few things into consideration

How long the flowers stay fresh, with or without hydration

How "alive" the flowers look throughout the week (some limp faster)

How much of a variation does the shop have.

For Willinger, the flowers are still fresh for a week and a half with hydration, without water they'll last about a three days max

The flowers keep their non-limped "alive" look for a good day.

As for variation, they're pretty good,. They have every flower you can think of in almost every color you can imagine, but they run out pretty fast -- they only had 3 long stemmed roses last time i went.

Their service is not as great as you'd expect. They could do better. Once you finally get someones attention they're nice.. but a bit old fashioned -- they don't seem to have new bouquet concepts to a T. for my sisters wedding, all the bouquets they were showing seemed like they popped out of a 50s movie, as though they were trying hard to impress with size. My sister was looking for a fresh bouquet, that looked picture perfect and would last the week for studio and honeymoon photos. We took a basic bouquet from a few shops -- this ones was dead by day 3, limping by day 2, and we got it early day 1, by the end of day 1 it was already showing signs of distress. it may be the excess "glitter hydration" thing they were using. we tried out all florists, in the end she decided on Parkway Flowers to do her bouquet, and Orchid florist to do her arrangements for church so that family can enjoy the ones they take after the event was over -- our family is big when it comes to flowers.

Their prices are ridiculous to some extent. A rose for 5$? is it made out of diamonds? The bouquets reflect the price as my sister found out.

I've already reviewed them both!

after #3, its all downhill. sadly. I don't like giving less than three stars to any establishment because i might have caught them on a bad day.
