The Retro Diner. This place kinda reminded me of a 50's style diner, right accross the street from Pathpark, Burger King, A hill, and a Highway (The Belt Parkway) You see a beautiful scenery out numerous windows of Coney Island and the buildings, and the river. They closed in early 2006 as far as I remember. This cropsey avenue place was on the Coney Island/ Bensonhurst border, and cheaper than most other diners. Once a lady there sitting nearby me with her husband left a penny as a tip and dissappointed the mexican waitor/buss boy. Her opinion it was bad. Here great salads, burgers, chicken wings, and ranch dressing. I will miss this place. They used the proper ingredients. I ate here often with my friend Shelly. And we both miss it. It's irreplacable. God only knows what they made that place into now, I hope not a comdimumium.
User review by airos4. Nothing special, pretty standard diner. Open late. Food's ok, no bargain.
