Best Brick Oven Pizza!! The Taste Reminds Me Of Pizza I've Eaten In ITALY!. My husband and I frequent II Colosseo a lil too often?.see, we always watch what we eat, but just LOVE indulging here!

Their pizza reminds me of my trip to Sicily?their pizza taste is so authentic and that brick oven freshness is what makes it so delish!

Their "Paradiso"(it has mushrooms & artichokes) & "Contadina" (it has onions & fresh black olives?not fake canned olives) pizza's are my absolute favorites?they are both a must try!

The Margherita is also great if you like just plain pizza.

My husband and I always devour everything!

Their fried calamari is always tender & crispy?not chewy or greasy!

We have also tried their mushroom risotto (which was by the way such a huge portion)?and it was also really flavorful and scrumptious!

If you are near the Bensonhurst Brooklyn area you musttttttt go and check this place out and have a pie?or two!

Oh I fogot to mention they also give you really good bruschetta once you are seated...it tastes just like my italian grandmother at home made it...fresh tomatoes and garlic!!

Solid. Great service, Bartholemue is the young, prompt, nice, serving waiter/chef. Food was very original and old school italian. Pizza and antipasti were excellent. Not American styled at all. $12 for a small margahret personal pizza. Doesnt look nice on the outside, but nice linene tablecloths on the inside.

Everything is delicious!. My husband and I eat at Il Colosseo all the time (and I think that it is romantic). Everything on the menu is amazing. They always have the best specials and will make you a dish even if it?s not on the menu. We always order a pizza appetizer and my favorite entrees are the risotto pescatore and chicken francaise. Make sure you save room for dessert, the gelato is out of this world and they constantly have new flavors.

Best Chef in Town. This place is highly recommended for the great chef that is young, talented and straight from Italy. You will not get the usual "rolatini" or "parm" everything menu, but what you get is what you'd get in Italy. Freshness and a great menu. The pizza is superb and great for the kids!!

Well worth a visit. This is not your traditional lasagna/ziti/parm place, not that there is anything wrong with those sort of places. They do offer brick oven pizza in addition to an interesting menu and always interesting specials. I've always gotten a special usually a seafood dish and I've never been disappointed. The service is excellent and the prices reasonable.

Brick Oven Pizza. I loved their brick oven pizza, but my friends and my kids didnt. The pasta was excellent, too. Highly recommend their cappuccino. Unfortunately, they dont have many deserts to go with it.

Paice of Italy. I'm from Italy and i felt home great and fresh food ,good pizza,i been there few times and i always go with the special or seafood, about dessert try the profitterol.the only bad think is not really a romantic place so if you want to have very good food and you are not on a firsth date go!!!!!!
