Great stylist/terrible receptionist. I have been going to Nu Wave for years to get my hair braided. However, for the last few years, ever since they got this receptionist to schedule appointments, it has been a nightmare and a hit or miss. She is very lackadasical regarding making, scheduling appointments. She does not apologize for not returning calls or giving the wrong information. I often have my appointment days or hours changed at the last minute. This is not professional and has hurt their business. Those writing good remarks about the receptionist must be friends or the receptionist writing it herself.

N/A. Take your chances.. the stylists are very creative...the receptionist is not very pleasant...

Great Receptionist 10 thumbs up. I was referred to the salon by one of my friends, the first experience was beautiful,the receptionist she is one of the best that i have met since i am in Brooklyn and Manhattan and I am a Human Resouce Manager for several companies in Russia and she is excellent, i will hire her on the spot , she is very warm and PROFESSIONAL. and you will leave with a smile. That is the person that you need to greet your clients.

the Salon is Beautiful and smell GReat. the prices are right for the service that they provide.

i LOVE NU WAVE KULTRUAL KREATIONS AND THE STAFF. I INTRODUCED A FRIEND TO THE SALON AND SHE LOVES THE RECEPTIONIST SHE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND MAKES YOU FEEL WELCOME EVEN IF YOU DONT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT OR CAN GET A DATE , THERE IS A YOUNG LADY THAT YOU MEET AS SOON AS YOU COMES THROUGH THE DOOR IS GREAT ACTUALLY ALL OF THEM, YOU NEED TO VIST THEM THEY R ALL GREAT, BUSINESS PEOPLE VERY PROFESSIONAL ATMOSPHERE , FRIENDLY AND VERY BUSY LOL

Best place to get natural hair done.. I have been getting my hair done at Nu wave for over 6 years. The girls there are talented and warm-hearted. The ambiance is great and everyone is friendly. I have to make my appointments months ahead but its worth it to me. Once you get your hair done there you won't want to go anywhere else. I always leave with my hair shiny,stylish, and very satisfied.

Horrible Service. Don't plan on ever keeping your original appt. No matter what appt is given to you expect a call at most 3 days before informing you that your appt has been canceled, it happens all the time. Eventually, I had to stop going because it became to annoying.
