Comme ci, comme ça.
Always good. Very heavy pizza, not really grab-and-go type of place. You'll have toppings all over you. Service is fast, but a little unfriendly.

Ok pizza, Open late.
The pizza usually tastes great at around 2am after a night of drinking. It gets crowded by hungry hipsters so your best bet is to call up and place an order for pickup. Get a white slice!

Best pizza in USA..
This is my favorite pizza in the USA. I lived in NYC for one year and tried as many pizza joints as I could, but Anna Maria's was by far my favorite. It was also a favorite of my roommates. All of the pizza is sold "by the slice". There are usually about 12-15 varieties to choose from. The slices are large with generous amounts of sauce and toppings. Usually one slice would suffice as my meal. The ingredients are very fresh. I never thought the service was rude, but it is very fast due to the large numbers of patrons. If you are looking for a pleasant, sit-down, dining experience, this is NOT the place to go. The tables are laminated, crowded, and I think rarely cleaned between customers. You order at the counter, but sometimes it is better to take it to go, since the small eating area is often crowded. However, if you are looking for tasty, fresh pizza at a good price, this is the best place.

They refuse to sell a pizza, for no reason.
When I'm very busy, I go there sometimes to take out a quick bite, because they have many kinds of pizza, and it tastes OK. I usually ask for no warm it up necessary, because I don't have time to wait, and I don't eat it right away anyway. Today, the guy said there's no pizza for me. He said if I want to have a cold pizza, I should go to the grocery store next door, and should buy a frozen pizza instead. And he started taking order for the other customers who came after me. So I had to walk away without dinner. My husband told me he makes stupid jokes all the time, but if it's joke, he should stop doing it. Because I'm not going back there anymore.

simply great.
the prices have gone up slightly over the past couple years but the pizza is still some of the best in the city and is very hard to pass up when coming home from a night out. the chicken slice and the pesto slice are amazing and worth the money. truly a great piece of the neighborhood that continues to be easy and unpretentious despite everything else that has happened.

Anna Maria: She Gives Great Pizza.
When you get off the L train on Bedford Ave., be sure to hit this great pizza joint, which specializes in unique and tasty combinations. The sauce is fantastic, the ingredients fresh. Plenty of goodies for vegetarians, too. The plain slice is a bit pricey for what you get sometimes, but the pre-made multi-topping slices are a bargain at $3 a pop. Get lots of napkins and tell them two plates; can be a bit greasy at times, too.
