best italian bakery. well my ex denis firpo senior took me to fortunato brothers bakery in 2009, he told me once you try something there your never would want to go to another bakery anywhere else again and he was right, i've been going ever since, everything is amazing and so rich in flavor…

I have been going to Fortunato Brothers for the last 4 years, one of my girlfriends introduce me to this bakery, her school is near and they get their bakery goods from there. Since then I have been
a Fan. When my daughter and granddaughter came in from Texas I took them there and they fell in love with the place, especially the homemade gelato!!!!!!

Great Place!. I initially heard about this place from my boyfriend who said that this particular bakery had the best french style dessert popularly named "thousand leaves". I decided to order the cake despite how far away it is from my house and when I got there a very police gentleman opened the door as I walked through and all the girls in the place were super sweet. They were all very helpful and polite. Later on that night I surpised my boyfriend with his favorite cake and to my surprise this cake was so delicious. The flaky layers were crisp and perfect. The chocolate and vanilla creme fillings were devine and the chocolate shavings on top of the cake simply melted in your mouth. All in all this cake was amazing and the people were sweet. I'll be sure to go back!…
The best around. Used to travel all the way back to my old neighborhood in the bronx until I found this place. By far the best cookies and cakes around.
Great hang out, espresso, gelatti, and cakes. The best italian bakery in the hood; one of the best in NY. this is a real neighborhood hangout. I love this place. Great espresso and real Italian treats. I'm not sure what that other person was talking about regarding the gelatti, as far as NY is concerned their gelatti is pretty great. My favorite dessert is their plain large Ba ba; A rum soaked cake. So delicious. I have not tried their cakes but I will and I have a feeling it will make me very happy. Fortunato Bros. is a real Williamsburg hot spot, I feel very lucky to live three blocks away. Don't hesitate to try this place, its great.…
