Mark Lanes is gone. I have fond memories of taking my two sons to "Mommy & me" bowling, and birthday parties, with platters of fried ravioli, battered mushrooms, zucchini,& buffalo wings.Shirley offered free bowling lessons, and I applied for a job at the snack bar, and was hired. The only local business to hire me, Century 21 refused to hire me 3 times although I am a qualified experienced Security Officer.Century 21 Dept Store bullied and harrassed their tenants, Mark Lanes into selling back their lease.Mark Lanes has been replaced by a Century 21 parking garage.

Pretty Good. I live right around the corner from Mark lanes. I think it is pretty good. I mean i am only 14 years old, but i go there a lot with my friends. They have a really fun arcade. They have some nice bowling balls, but some aren;t so good. The monitors for scoring are small and the staff is all old people(LOL). The staff can sometimes be nice, but most times they are mean. If you make a mistake or something or you make a joke while paying(or whatever) they aren't too friendly. They are expensive and The food is OK. Otherwise, it's quite fun.

Nicer than most. This bowling alley is pretty nice except that it is pretty expensive for a Brooklyn spot. It has well maintained lanes but a poor selection of balls. The staff is slow, so if someone is ahead of you on line, you'll be there for a while. The bar is nice and there floor is well maintained so you don't ruin your shoes. The scoring machine does not have an overhead screen, so if you have a group, you'll have to climb over everyone to look at the monitor. They have good kids events and family events, but again, it's not cheap.
