great for wen your drunk, hungover, or both (during work). the dough here is fresh and deliscious i came here with a bunch of friends while we were out and about i thought i was gonna barfoza but one hit offa that sweet pizza stogie and i was in flava country!

Terrible Service and Nothing Special Pizza. order a large cheese pizza one, quiet Tues night. it took them over an hour (depsite giving 30 min delivery estimate) to bring the pie. the pizza is nothing special. staff are rude and unprofessional. terrible!

Pairing Food and Service. Vesuvio a great example of consisitency of taste and service.I dine out often ,and every time I find my self in Brooklyn I choose vesuvio for two raisons at least :food is very tasty and their liberal portion pairing that with a great service.The Manager was warm host he shook my hand which is not really often in NY Restaurant ,I was watching him mastering his team with care and proffessionalism.I ordered Fettucine Rusitca excellent dish of pasta sun-dried tomato, spinach ,grilled chicken...its an A ++.I highly recommend Vesuvio where people they care for your satisfaction.

Great food. Food is great, decent service. best pizza place around the area. Great for groups but noisy. Typical of a pizza joint.

great places to hang out with great food. Vesuvios has the best pizza in Bay Ridge and everyone there is incredibly nice. It's slighty more expensive than other pizzerias but it's definitely worth the extra buck. My family doesn't order pizza from any other pizzeria because its just that good. I love the potato croquettes and the mozzarella sticks. The chicken parmesan hero is good and so is the Gnoki. The garlic knots are great. The people at vesuvios have always let me and my friends hang out there for hours and don't say a word. Vesuvios is definitley the best pizzeria in brooklyn

Great food for cheap!. If you want great italian food, this is your spot. The atmosphere is very cute and cozy, the food is amazing (must try the mozzarella sticks!) and very cheap. Me and my husband had a 4 course meal for $50 total!

awful and getting worse. We've ordered often from this place over the past couple years, but each time it gets worse and worse. The last pasta I had was oily and bland, with vegetables that obviously came from a bag of frozen, pre-chopped; the pizzas are too heavy and too covered with cheese that slides off the tough crust in flavorless globs. There are so many good Italian restaurants in Bay Ridge, both casual and expensive, but this is by far the worst.

WOW!! Now that's Italian. I went there with my daughters for a "girls nite out". They had the "grandma's" pizza, and a regular cheese slice while I ate the Buono Gustaio. OMG!! That has got to be the BEST pasta dish I've had in a VERY long time. We now make vesuvios our weekly resturaunt to dine in
