nasty blonde server. older blonde waitress was so rude and nasty at our private dinner in the back of the restaurant, i will never come back again. she served pork at our table eventhough it wasnt part of our menu package we ordered. instead of apologizing for it and offering another plate, she insisted on arguing with us.that it was our fault. when desert arrived,me and my friend asked for another cup of coffee, we never got it. bill arrives with a mandatory 19% gratuity. total nonsense. they deserved absolutely nothing. food was terrible and service a disaster. i heard this old waitress cursing us to the blonde bartender, as i walked out to smoke. this place is nasty. if the owner ever reads this, please for the sake of your business get rid of this waitress. her service is why people wont come back. you need people that SMILE and treat everyone nicely. we all felt she was an angry server who hated working. the mandatory tip should be excercised only if the service deserved it. Ihope you take this seriously and take care of your business. otherwise she will destroy it.

Great Service from Paulina!. I completely disagree with the last 2 reviewers! I'm a regular at Greenhouse and the service and attention to detail from the waitress and the bartender is ALWAYS on point, especially from the girl studying for the LSATs, Paulina! Her studying has never interfered with her serving us - the customers were always the priority. Also, the food is yummy!!!

All around worse service, food is consistent but menu lacks. I have been going to the Greenhouse Cafe for about 5 years. Have eaten in the Cafe next door as well. The menu has a lot to offer. The waitstaff is slow and and never follows up. The waitresses all look like they just rolled out of bed with no shower. They don't understand the menu or have drink knowledge. One girl studied an LSAT book and didn't even know what beers were on draft! Obviously there is no management since the staff is constantly on their cell phones or smoking.

Wednesdays the karaoke is loud and the regular wednesday bartender left, so the service at the bar is horrible. The weekends are hit or miss, usually loud. Sunday brunch is good, Martin McQuade is a regular and he makes the whole experience.

Valet is good considering the difficulties parking around there. Ask for Peter, he's very sweet and professional. The dark haired female bartender always welcomes us when we come in and makes us welcome as well as the adorable little hostess who always seems to sit us promptly. The drinks are always good but pricey.

The atmosphere is chaotic, with loud music at times, lost waitresses and an air of not caring.

The cafe next door is younger, has a lighert menu. The staff looks a bit cleaner. They make mistakes a lot but are apologetic and try to fix it.

They could use some management and a menu upgrade. Plus a reality check on drink prices, personal hygiene and friendliness.

Skip it!. Took 35 minutes to be seated even with a reservation. Sat in a cold tented room that was not cleaned - food on the floor , confetti, old banner hanging. Wait staff forgot us repeatedly. They stacked unused chairs in the room with us. Complained to the manager and the only thing that changed was that the band began dumping their equipment in with us as well! We will never go there again.

Completely horrible!

How is this place still open??. I tried to take my mom, sister and niece there for a Sunday brunch. What a disaster!!! We waited an hour to be served drinks and appetizers! My poor niece ordered a fruit platter and it smelled like old fish. This is outright dangerous!!! I don't know what type of sanitary conditions are going on in that kitchen but we were not the only ones sending back the fruit plates. It was an epidemic! It was disgusting. So all in all after an hour and half we left upset, hungry and stressed out. They were still seating people as we were leaving and the whole restaurant was in a uproar about not getting served. People starting clapping when they received their food. Bad management all around. I really feel sorry for the staff of young people serving everyone and having to deal with all the complaints. Avoid this place like the plague!
