Greatest Food Ever

Mambo Italiano has been my favorite restaurant for a long time. I have been there about 10 to 15 times. The food is always good. The taste never changes.
The waiters are great. Customer Service is incredible
I would recommend it to anyone who loves Italian food.
- Pros: Lobster
Horrible service- so so food- not so bad price

I came here on a Saturday night with about 10 people for a birthday party. Even though we had reservations, we had to wait an hour for our table. Once we were seated, it took an eternity to get some water and have our order taken. We were paid very little attention throughout the meal- I wonder if that was due to a guaranteed tip thanks to the size of our party. We ordered our appetizers family style and our main courses individually. I asked for a simple substitution in my dish and my waitress told me it would not be possible. We had issues with communication between our busboy and waitress, which casued some probelms. When we ordered dessert, our coffee showed up when the last morsel had been eaten.
I did not find the prices to be too bad, less than $60 per person, and that included appetizers, dessert, and about two drinks each.
In regards to the entertainment, it was very cheesy and annoying. There were many parties out celebrating birthdays and each celebrant had happy birthday sung to him by the singer over the microphone. I could have done without the theatrics.
The food was decent, but certainly nothing spectacular. I'd rather go elsewhere- where there is better service and less of a show.
- Pros: Food and price were ok
- Cons: Service!!!
Horrible service

I've tried this place on three occassions and it is always the same. Decent food, bad service and the "'live entertainment" is annoying. The waiters don't refill your water and are not at all helpful. The last time I went I received the wrong order and the waiter just stared at me accusingly. The singer is ok, but the dining room is so small that when he begins his set, you can't hear/talk to anyone at your table. The food is a little expensive. Will probably only use this as a take-out place.
- Pros: Decent Italian, large portions "family style"
- Cons: Bad service, expensive, no ambience
