“disgusting place, wouldn't go there again!”
“service is terrible.”
Hippest bar in the neighborhood. The hippest bar in the neighborhood...by far. Cons: expensive for the neighborhood, I disagree with some other positive reviews about the food, I think the food is just ok.
DEALIAS!!.
GREAT PLACE! awesome food (chicken quesadillas came in a martini glass!) :)

i think i might be delias' #1fan.. such an awesome atmosphere and interesting crowd!
last night i won chocolate covered strawberries it was great.

This person signed up to review only this place an no others in 5 years? I don't think this is a legitmate review.
quite, lovely, awesome ambience. great way to wind down the night, trendy, comfy, great friendly service, and food in Martini glasses. it's a bit too dark to read the menu, and can get crowded. nevertheless - it's a great place to chill out, relax, talk. great for intimate dates, or girl nights =) dont go out of the way to travel - but definaltey stop in if you're within reasonable distance.
The R train's last stop leads to a romantic evening in the Ridge..
The Scene
With a reclining Buddha on the wall, and crimson and leopard print everywhere, this lounge cranks its swank as high as anyplace on the Lower East Side. The acres of plush couch space and subdued lighting here up the ante on the Bay Ridge class-factor, and provide a place to kick back at the end of a date. Trip-hop sets the mood; a fireplace roars on cold nights. For all its Manhattan airs, Delia's is still deep in Brooklyn, so expect gold chains, black leather, and long red nails.
The Draw
The Creme Brutini (Stoli Vanilla and Frangelico) heads the selection of martinis, each served in a swervy-necked glass with a plastic monkey dangling from the rim. Big shots can buy Cristal by the bottle, but women are as easily wooed by the chocolate-covered strawberries.
Delia's #1 Fan.
Delia's is great. I go there frequently and take friends there all the time.
You can beat the ambiance, music, and prices..
I do go out in the city (and love it), but I can assure you Delia's is a 100% better than lots of "trendy" and "cool" places in the city, and so much cheaper....
If you are ever in Brooklyn, give it a try..
Typical Bay Ridge....
I'm a native Bay Ridger I've been in here once. Too many people from the neighborhood that I am trying to avoid as I get older...
They play the same music every weekend (or so I'm told but frequent visitors), its very dark and poorly designed for people to walk around. BUT... the drinks are pretty good.
Bay Ridge loves Delia's!. I agree that the main "review" of Delia's is uncalled for. Can I submit that to be taken down and an impartial one written by someone who actually *wants* to be in Bay Ridge write one instead? Of course I would not recommend to anyone to come all the way to Delia's from Manhattan when there are so many bars in the city to choose from. But for those of us who live nearby, Delia's is one of the best. And those of you who think it's cute to say that you can count on one hand the number of times you've been to Bklyn, let's keep it that way!
