IT DONT GET NO BETTER. I went there to have dinner with a friend one friday night.. The food was great, i'm not one to lick my fingers but i did. That experience of food, friendliness and fun, has led me there on more than one occasion. Its safe to say Two Steps Down is truly my favorite restaraunt.
Great Food.... Went there a day or so ago, and the food was GREAT! THe cod fish cakes are not that good, but ok. Oxtails were fantastic. Our waiter must have been new because he was a bit off... All in all good experience and great food. I will be back. The bar upstairs was closed for a private party, but this is a cute and cozy place.
Two Steps Down gets 2 thumbs way UP!!.
I recently had my graduation/birthday party at Two Steps Down and everything was really nice. The staff was friendly and professional. The service my guests received was high quality. The food was delicious; juicy collards, seasoned chicken and rice, flaky fish.....mmmm!! My guests were really impressed with the venue, and positively commented on the atmosphere, decor, design. The drinks were great! The prices are reasonable and it's well worth every cent. We enjoyed ourselves. I would strongly suggest this place to everyone I know.
My hubby and I are in the neighborhood, so we frequent Two Steps Down often for brunch and dinner.
Great Place. Went here for a Sunday brunch and have only one thing to say AWESOME !!! It was a great atmosphere, very nice cool for a date and great for a group. The staff was helpful and friendly, everyone seemed to work together. They were really nice I made last minute reservations for a party of 20 and they sat us upstairs and made us feel like we had our own private room. I would definite recommend this place for brunch good food and a great price.
delicious soul food in an upscale Brooklyn setting.... The food is tasty. Try their blackened catfish with fresh garden vegetable topping for a treat. The chef dishes out soul food flavor with an upscale feel in regards to food presentation. The ambience is on the cozy side of small, which makes for a nice romantic date night or a business lunch that's close to downtown Brooklyn.
