Short version: Anthony is a god with scissors and color, easy to get an appointment, prompt, attentive, well priced. Highest recommendation.

Long vesion: After receiving a horrible haircut at my normal salon in jersey, my aunt took me to her stylist of eight years, Anthony, at Image. The aforementioned bad haircut was so terrible and very short, so I was skeptical anyone could do anything to fix it. As it turned out, ANTHONY IS A MIRACLE WORKER. He transformed my bad (and difficult to work with) hair into a style I now love. He also gave me the most gorgeous, expertly blended highlights I've ever had. Needless to say, after one visit, I am a loyal customer of this fabulous establishment. An added bonus, the salon is very well priced. (My cut and color were much less than I paid at my old salon). Anthony only works on Thursdays though--the other days of the week he works at a very ritzy, exoribtantly-priced salon in Manhattan with high profile clients. Now that I've had him work on me once, I'd pay any price for his flawless work. But on Thursdays you can get this gem of a stylist for a great price in the more modest environent that Image Salon offers. In sum, I give this place my highest recommendation. My beauty secret. I have been going to Maya for over 12 years and she is the reason my friends and coworkers say "You're hair always looks good." She is an amazing stylist and does cuts that works with my type of hair. She recently moved to a chic salon in quaint Pineapple Walk in Brooklyn Hts (only 1 stop from Wall St.). I appreciate that she can always fit me in and is always on time. I see the care and wonderful haircuts she and her talented staff give to all of the customers and I highly recommend her. Just recently I entrusted my winter wear hands and feet to Tanya and she performed miracles with a soothing mani-pedi. And to top it all off, her prices are extremely affordable - and since I have short hair this is a must. Five stars indeed.

An excellent beauty salon. I have been a client of Maya and Zoya for about five years. They are very professional and shockingly inexpensive. Maya is terrific with the curling iron, and my flat straight hair looks good for a week. They are like a warm family. Great for mani-pedicure as well. I give it 5 stars!

Excellent Service/Cut. Excellent Service/Cut

Image has been my salon for more than five years. The service is excellent. And every haircut I have had has been exactly right. Even when the salon is busy, the staff find a way to accomodate my schedule and provide me with an appointment on short notice- something that is very valuable to me. The atmosphere is extremely pleasant. I highly recommend Image.

Creative and Beautiful Hair. I have been coming to this salon for many years. Maya, the owner, is friendly, helpful, and, above all, can come up with hairstyles and haircuts that make you look more like you, only more focussed and beautiful. Her ideas for my hair never fail to do exactly what I want them to do. I highly recommend this salon, and I have personally recommended it to many people and they are all now happy customers.

Golden Image. Right in the heart of Brooklyn Heights, nestled in Pineapple Walk is "Image" Unisex Salon-Spa. After a hard day's work or before a big weekend Image is a cheerful oasis that provides the best grooming for men and caters to a girl's most basic need: the need to look and feel beautiful.

I've been going to Image for over 12 years now. Why? Whenever I arrive, no matter how stressed-out or exhausted I feel, when the session is completed and I look in that mirror, I walk out feeling young, beautiful and ready to take on the world. You can't put a price on that feeling or that consistency over so many years. But even if you could, the results are worth their weight in gold.

Whatever your requirements, Image's expert staff always provide the best at the most affordable prices. But don't take my word for it. See for yourself!

Great men's cut...friendly...moderately priced. I moved to Brooklyn Heights three years ago and have tried many many local places to get myself (a man w beard) a haircut and beard trim. Finally I stumbled upon and am now a regular at Image Unisex. Here I get excellent cuts and careful trims in a calm and friendly spot.

Appointments are kept and I am not kept waiting.,

Best Place Ever!. I've been coming to this hair salon for almost seven years. They recently moved to a new place, even more upscale and cozier. The personnel is very friendly and highly professional. Zoya does great color and highlights, Maya does terrific hair cuts and styling. I can't imagine my hair done by someone else. I recommend this place, you won't regret. By the way, if you decide to do nails, Irene does great manicure & pedicure. Wish you lots of luck guys, love you all.

Professional staff, great service and salon.. I have been coming to this salon for over 10 years and have never had a bad hair day! If you are looking for hairdresser, make an appointment with Zoya – you’ll be amazed. The staff is competent, friendly, and talented. This salon is very convenient for people who live and work in this neighborhood. I wish you lots of success.
