The best sports bar I have ever been to.. Without question, the best place to watch any game you want. They have every single Direct TV package that you can find. True story, I walked in the first week of college football this fall. I know the owner, he knew I am an Ohio State fan. The game was on the Big 10 network, which he didn't have. I told him no worries, would watch some other games. He went back to his office, 10 minutes later the game was on tv after he made one phone call to his satellite provider. I didn't even miss opening kickoff. That is the kind of place this is. Sundays is amazing. Fans from all over the country cheering on their teams. IT is packed though so get there early, and it will be loud but a great time. Friendliest staff I have ever been around. Get the wings and the cajun burger, unreal. Great beer selection and good prices.

Great Sports Bar.... Cody's is the best...good guys and girls...friendly rivalries (Go Sox!), and about 20 tv's so every game is on...just don't take Mike's seat in the corner near the door...

Best waitress I've ever had. We spent the World Cup at this busy bar/restaurant. Beer after beer, I have never had smoother service - and it was packed. The food seems so-so, although the nachos were really yummy (fake hot cheese w/big cups of beans, chili & guac on the side).

The atmosphere is absolutely worth an appetizer and severals drinks.

Great local bar/pub. Cody's is one of my top 3 favorite bars in the world. Food's great and cheap, service is friendly, comfortable and casual, and there's ~10 small screens to watch (silent) games on. It's a local bar popular with cops, government workers and older regulars. It does not fit in with the cool bars all over Smith Street. There are ~10 taps with a variety of national and local beers. The ambience is the only downside - wood paneling and bronze everywhere make the place look a little cheesy. The selection on the jukebox is great if you love Irish music and Frank Sinatra.

A good old-fashioned bar and grill for Cobble Hill and Boerum Hill sports fans.. In Short
A warm spirit abounds at this mainstay sports bar and restaurant. Multiple televisions on both sides of the cozy room ensure unobstructed sight lines for fans, whether they're sipping pints at the oak bar or snacking on pub munchies--like baked clams, nachos, and buffalo wings--at tall tables in front. Additional seating in the back and a full menu of salads, sandwiches, burgers, pastas, and steaks, accommodate local families for lunch and dinner.

Worst dining experience EVER!. I went here for dinner on a Sunday night. Maybe Sunday is the worst night to go because of football, but this place is far more bar than restaurant. We were seated next to an obnoxiously roudy group of guys, who were extremely rude and loud. When we complained to the owner, he just shrugged us off and offered no compensation for our terrible experience. Awful place for dinner.

No Pretension Here. Just a nitty-gritty good place to eat and have a beer. Terrific burgers, a wide variety on the menu. Was wondering what took my clams casino so long, discovered they were made from scratch (not frozen) - delicious. Sports on TV, a dart board, neighborhood regulars.... it's like Cobble Hill's version of Cheers. Ask for Tom or Annie. Good people! And the value speaks for itself. You'll feel like you had a homey, honest experience here. Oh yeah, and good jukebox!
