For two decades, Teresa Brzozowska has been serving the Brooklyn Heights community with the finest American/Eastern European cuisine around. Blintzes, pierogis, eggs Benedict, and thick French toast made with challah or babka have made the Brooklyn clientele happy not to have to trek to Polish Greenpoint or the East Village. The walls have a woodsy yet airy look of a well-run northern-European country place. The trademark blintzes are bound to win you over ? crisp, but smooth and crepelike inside, with a semi-sweet farmer?s cheese filling that is pure Eastern European grandma. The classics, of course, will be sure to delight; eggs any style, crisp and salty home fries, sausage links, pierogis, and spiced and garlicky kielbasa. I had an experience of seeing Teresa's kitchen. It is plain dirty. There are roches in the bread, that is kept in dark place. The stuff is too busy to wash hands and besides there's no soap at the sink under the counter. The food looks and tastes delicious, but is really dirty.

My favorite place for lunch in the area. The best home cooking and delicious soups everyday!! Reasonable prices too!! Great location in Brooklyn Heights.

Teresa's offers home cooked meals for the whole family. If you go for breakfast, you will get a generous meal that will fill you for a good part of your day. Teresa's also has some great sandwiches and salads. The restaurant is clean and the wait staff was friendly and got the food to us pretty quickly.
