Simply amazing. I don't know why I don't go here more often. I've never had a bad meal, the service is excellent and the prices are so reasonable. You'd have a hard time finding anything wrong here.

Rude on Mother's Day. Having heard great things about Noodle Pudding, my family and I were excited to go there for lunch on Mother's Day. When we arrived, however, we discovered they placed our table of 8 in a corner, against the wall, with barely enough space to eat. When we tried to make more space, the manager was rude and totally unaccomodating. He was not apologetic at all and was even insulting to my husband. We would have left, but it was Mother's Day afternoon and we knew we wouldn't get a table anywhere else. Luckily we stayed because the food was delicious (for the most part -- the calamari was a little chewy but everything else was great) and the waitstaff was excellent. Our waiter was lovely and gave us free desserts to try to make up for the manager's rudeness. The gelati and chocolate mousse cake was amazing.

Best Italian in NY. We stumbled across Noodle Pudding while house sitting for a friend. She highly recommended it, and as being Italian we always have lower expectations... Needless to say we were totally won over. We ate there 4 times in 1 week we loved it that much. The food is FANTASTIC, the prices are reasonable and the service is great. No complaints and is worth the trip to Brooklyn. LOVE IT!

One of my favorites. Noodle Pudding has officially become my favorite resterant in New York. I have lived in the 5 boroughs my enitre life, eating out is a hobby of mine.

This is a very special place. You feel as if you are eating at a friends house. The wait staff is AMAZING, they are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The food is outstanding, the price- reasonable. the atmostphere is cozy and comfy and super romanitic. I recommend the samon with the white beans and escorole and the seafood ragu is to die for!!

We live in Manhattan, its such a lovely date, to walk over the Brooklyn Bridge, go to noodle pudding and stroll home.

The ONLY negatives to mention are that is quite nosey and a bit too warm most of the times.

So good!. Went to Noodle Pudding last weekend after hearing great reviews... There was a wait, but the service was, honestly, the best I've ever had. Everything we ordered was great, except for the plain tomato sauce, which was just ok. The calamari was fried to perfection, the beef carpaccio appetizer was fresh and delicious, and the wine list is very reasonably priced. Definitely go if you're looking for a good Italian meal.

What an atmosphere. There's a great buzz about the place...Even though they don't take reservations and the place seems packed you manage to get seated within 20mins max...may be longer for bigger parties... the bar is great fun ... as for the food check out the Mussels in white wine..... The steak is great but a little dry...all the salads are fab..Food wise it can be up or down on the selections..Wine list is so so reasonable....and a great selection... and at the end you will be surprised at the check at least we were....

A gem. This is simply one of the best restaurants in New York. Everything is so fresh and prepared to perfection. I've eaten there probably 30-40 times and I've always left completely satisfied. Prices are great. Service is outstanding! I just wish they would start taking reservations, because the wait can be long. But you can either sit/stand at the bar if there's room (even if there isn't, you'll get a drink; the bartender is some sort of wizard), or go to the Henry Street Ale House a block up. Go! It has a stupid name - so what. Go! Or rather, don't go, so my wait will be shorter.

good food, but SO loud I couldn't enjoy it. Bad acoustics ruined an otherwise enjoyable dinner at this highly-recommended restaurant. Bklyn Heights needs a place like this: good, fresh Italian food, but it was impossible to concentrate on the food with the level of noise in the place-- and we were there on a week night.

Too bad, because otherwise I have no complaints-- but noise is a big factor in enjoying a restaurant, in my opinion.

So glad to still have a place to go in my neighborhood.. I have eaten here for years, always good food and great bar just crowded. Well after you try Jack the Horse Tavern you learn to re appreciate what good customer service is. Remember just stick with noodle pooding. STAY CLEAR OF JACK THE HORSE> GOD AWFUL>

You HAVE to go. Full disclosure: I had a long-term relationship that sustained its ground on the evenings at Noodle Pudding. Don't get me wrong, this is a very sweet, made-with-care place that is always busy, the owner is usually around, draped towel dangling from his slumped shoulders, attending to the customers, running the place, making sure the operation is run with a mix of neighborhoodian love and craft for the fresh meal. No hipsters, no scene, people from the neighborhood, mild Brooklyn Heights folk. I adored the liver and never got over the cornish hen stuffed with wild rice. One New Year's I booked it and took my parents there, it was so nice, the food excellent, no frills, the atmosphere warm and inviting. This is the kind of place that reminds you what warmth and care and love used to mean, before boutique hotels and condos ravaged the landscape with their lacquered blandness.
