“not a friendly atmosphere and expensive”
“This place has a lot of good beers on tap, and is an OK (not great) neighborhood bar.”
“However, the waitstaff was quite attentive, the bartender was helpful and pleasant despite being harried and overworked, and the food was excellent.”
“Not a very nice place.”
“The service was wonderful and friendly.”

Not what it was made out to be. I remember hearing alot of hype about this bar while I was walking around the heights, gave the place a shot and it did not phase me. I had a drink with my friend Marisa, who use to live near the bar a few years ago and noticed how expensive the drinks became over there. It gets very noisy after a certain time and we were surprised to notice a few roaches crawling around the store. It took a while to get our drinks served another reason why we got disappointed. I don't think will be back here sorry.
not a friendly atmosphere and expensive.
I use to come in this place once in a while before i stopped but despite the fact that i stopped using my credit card because i saw that i was over charged for more then i autherized, my boyfriend started getting nervous he felt all the guys were giving him looks and only smiled at me. Iam not saying its a crime for guys to like me because i know some of them for quite a while but iam with someone learn to accept it my man felt scared and started to shake.
the food was way too expensive then what it should have been.
very seedy and over charged. I will giver this place credit for one thing. They are open later on the weekdays and weekends. Iam sorry to say that my card was charged twice for beers and i only bought one for myself and a friend of mine which should have came out to $10.00 a beer and $20.00 a beer. The service is a little selective and cator to certain people oh well what can you do there is always floyds or henrys end on atlantic ave.
OK joint, but use cash, not a credit card. This place has a lot of good beers on tap, and is an OK (not great) neighborhood bar. However, las time I was there my card was charged for considerably more than I had authorized. I know there are some seedy places that do this, but I was surprised (and disappointed) to find that the case here.
Not the best.. Not a very nice place. If you are black forget about fair service. Sadly the sevice is very selective and they aren't nice. What can you do.
good food, strange ambiance. We went on a saturday a week after halloween and the windows were still covered with ghost and ghoul decorations. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. The food portions were large and tasty. It does not have the feel of an irish pub. The ceiling above the bar is high with chandeliers and we were seated in the back in a red booth. We were promptly moved to avoid the dart board for the noisy regulars.
not the top, but not bad. Ate here for Valentine's Day and it was ridculously crowded - I don't know how they managed to fit in so many tables, and they clearly overbooked. However, the waitstaff was quite attentive, the bartender was helpful and pleasant despite being harried and overworked, and the food was excellent.
