“This basement restaurant is clean, but hardly romantic, and has the basic neighborhood Chinese place decor that you find in most Chinese restaurants in the US (i.e., pink table cloths, wooden chairs, no music, and chinese landscape prints on the walls).”
“You won't find any of the wonderful, fancy Chinese cuisine of a true Chinese gourmet, but this place isn't about that.”
“The resturant is clean, good service and the food is def.”
“Good, basic, sort-of authentic Chinese food at a good price.”
PLEASE DON'T EAT HERE UNSANITARY!!!!. I used to eat here all of the time. I was very nice and tipped them every time. I ordered from this place a lot too, until 8-17-10. I ordered beef with broccoli and I found a hair wrapped around the beef. It looked like a pubic hair and I reported it to the health department. I hope no one ever has to go through this. I'm so disgusted. I washed my mouth out and I feel like throwing up. PLEASE DON'T EAT HERE! THE KITCHEN MUST NOT BE SANITARY.
Not just Any Chinese Cuisine. The take out here is fast delivery and tastes wonderful. The resturant is clean, good service and the food is def. not greasy. wonderful to take kids here as well. very authentic taste.
perfect for anyday at anytime. At andys its great. Perfect for my lunch break at brooklyn heights. If your in a want of chinese food, i high recommend this place. it's wonderful and the service is fantastic. On rainy or snowy days when i want to eat in, this is the first number on my take out list. they deliver it fast and tastes fantastic. Chinese cuisine never tasted any better!
Wow. I've only eaten their take out, but it was bad. The chinese noodles for the soup were stale and chewy. How does that happen? I thought those things had a shelf-life of a hundred years. And get this: the pancakes for the moo shu were tortillas! No joke. They gave me damp tortillas for my moo shu. The food itself - not good.
Poor Customer Service. there was an insect on our table and they insisted that they would only take 10% off as opposed to apologizing and not charging at all.
Take Out Style.... When you're sitting at home thinking about getting Chinese delivery, you're probably imagining something like what they serve at Andy's. Good, basic, sort-of authentic Chinese food at a good price. You won't find any of the wonderful, fancy Chinese cuisine of a true Chinese gourmet, but this place isn't about that. Entrees are right around $10, with fried rice and noodles being a little cheaper. Like most Chinese places, they'll make things not on the menu if you know what they're called. This basement restaurant is clean, but hardly romantic, and has the basic neighborhood Chinese place decor that you find in most Chinese restaurants in the US (i.e., pink table cloths, wooden chairs, no music, and chinese landscape prints on the walls). Quick, no-frills service and free delivery. Eat here if you're too tired to cook at home, and you won't be disappointed.
