First time with this service, will use it again.
I called the night before to see if it would be good to reserve a time for the next morning (it was) and the guy on the phone was friendly, told me the cost to Penn Station before I asked. He took my
phone # so he could call when the driver was outside the building.
Next morning i called to make sure the reservation was ok, different guy but same friendliness and information. The driver came an hour later (he called to let me know he was downstairs) and helped me with large bags. Car was clean, comfortable and the driver was great.
Traffic was bad, driver made sure I exited safely and carried my bags to the sidewalk. The amount he charged was what I had been told the night before.
Will use this car service next time I'm in this Brooklyn neighborhood!…
TAX STATEMENT PROBLEMS.
This is Eddy an ex- driver from Promenade Car Service.I worked with those two Guys for year 2009 and 2010.I asked the owner for a tax report statement; He suggested that he can only write on the
report those credit card & account jobs.
Remember car service business do a very low percentage of credit car jobs,majority of customers pay with cash. Please somebody out there tell me what do you think?…

Never ever use this car service. I have worked in DUMBO for 2 years and my best friend has lived there for years. I often use this car service, but never again. A friend of mine and I were leaving
her apartment after a dinner party when the driver demanded we exit the car. He and I were laughing in the backseat and he absolutely kicked us out because we were gay. We made it all of 1 block before he decided to verbally assault us.

very slow. they told me it would take 10 minutes for a car to come to my place (in Bklyn Heights). was more like 20-25... and when we got in the driver ignored our directions to get to williamsburg and took a ridiculously long route, making the fare super-high. Guy was an a**hole, acting like he couldn't understand us or we were stupid.…
Disgusting!. The back seats had spilled beer on them, which had obviously not been cleaned. The driver kept leaning back to face me--while driving!--and asking me personal questions like, Why are you out so late at night? Where's your boyfriend? etc. I couldn't wait to get out of the car-- and though I normally think it's nice when a cab waits to see that I get in to my building, this time seeing the car just sitting there on my street while I opened the door freaked me out. Avoid at all costs.…
