Probably purchased.. I was walking home from the farm stand near my home in Port Chester NY when I spotted something shiny on the ground. I bent over to retrieve it and saw that it was a gold pin with a familiar motif. It appeared to be a claddagh. It was very dark and dirty on one side and the other caught my eye as it got scuffed and the light reflected off it. It could have been laying there for years. I brought it home and cleaned it up until it shined like new. When I went to work the following day I brought it along to show my friend at Gold Rush Refiners. I brought it in on my lunch hour. I was told that it was, in fact, a claddagh and probably purchased in Ireland and most likely from the late 40s or early 50s and was a highly collectable and rare piece in 14 carat gold. They paid me 300.00 for it. My advice is to always look at the ground when walking.

They were very pleasant and professional.. Last year my mortgage was past due and I was really short and I had exhausted all my resources. My unemployment benefits ran out and the only income I had was doing part time telesales from home. Someone on a webinar, about making extra money, suggested to look through old jewelry and unload everything that was no longer worn or wanted. So I started to dig. I came up with an old bracelet, my fathers old gold watch and his gold tie bar, three silver dollars, one silver casino coin, and a heavy gold chain that I found in the street years ago. I put the whole mess into a little drawstring bag and brought it to Gold Rush Refiners. They were very pleasant and professional and made me feel right at home. I walked out of there with almost 1100.00 cash!

I have never been disappointed.. I have been back to Gold Rush Refiners at least a half dozen times with jewelry that I have bought at thrift stores and flea markets. I have never been disappointed in their offers. The best was an old cameo from the 1940s. I paid 5.00. They paid 200.00. Other items included old watches, a gold thimble and a diamond tie tack. It is a lot of fun and pays better than a part time job time job! I can’t wait to see what I can bring them next. You never know what treasure you might find.

Very generous offer.. My father had always had this gold and emerald cufflink in his jewelry box for as long as I could remember. I asked him about it and he said he had no idea where it came from. It was always there but it did not belong to my grandfather. He said it was probably his uncles but he wasn’t sure. He had passed on over forty years ago.

I suggested the he sell it and use the money to repair the front steps to the house.

I took the piece to Gold Rush Refiners and they made a very generous offer. They paid enough to cover the entire masonry job plus more. I will be digging through my own jewelry box next to cash in at Gold Rush Refiners.

Great way to raise some cash!. Was in a real tight spot at the beginning of the month, all that spending on my credit card finally caught up to me, rent was overdue, and i needed some cash...quick! So i stopped off at Gold Rush Refiners after work, i always see the place everyday...had few old rings from when I was younger that I never wore anymore and they gave me a very good price for them. Excellent staff, very professional, they weighed it out and told me how much it was all worth before I agreed. Happy to say the bills are paid, and I'm not even missing those rings! Thanks Gold Rush!

Excellent Service. A few years back my uncle lost his job after 50 years, just one year before retirement. instead of his pension and retirement package, all they gave him was a gold watch. So instead of keeping the watch, we went to Gold Rush and they gave him a nice chunk of cash. we took that and invested it in a segregated fund, which last year he cashed out quite a nice return! if i never checked out gold rush refiners, i don't know what my uncle would be doing for an income right now...thanks gold rush refiners!

I sure am one contented customer.. I had a few pieces of broken jewelry which I haven’t found time to have them repaired due to my hectic schedule. Planning to sell them but I was dismayed by the prices quoted by the jewelry shops I went to. A good friend of mine suggested that I have them appraised by Gold Rush Refiners. I was surprised when I heard the high appraisal of my gold despite the fact that that they were broken. With the company’s exceptional service and accurate scale, I sure am one contented customer.

Very accommodating. Been working hard for the past year. I needed to reward myself with something priceless. I once bought a platinum ring for my mom from Gold Rush Refiner. The service was exceptional so I went back to purchase something for myself this time. I was astounded to find they had a lot of items I can choose from. No minimum weight requirement; No hidden fees. One day I found myself in dire need of cash. With my set of gold jewelry I went to Gold Rush Refiners to have them appraised. I was astonished to discover that they had no minimum weight requirement; no hidden fees and their scales were calibrated. Not only that, I was informed how much I will be paid even before my jewelry was tested. And the great deal was, I had been given an option whether to sell it or not.
