excellent work - outstanding customer service. I recently had MOD reupholsterer an antique couch that has been in my family for 3 generations. After many overwhelming trips to fabric stores on the lower east side, I called and spoke to Hanny (such a sweetheart) and she let me know that during the initial consults with the designer, Sim, he would be more than willing to help me select a fabric. He quickly caught on to the fact that I wanted to stay more traditional with the covering and guided me toward those fabrics, using a elimination process that was very helpful. He picked up one last book to go through and I ended up stopping him on a fabric that I suprised myself by falling in love with. A very modern tangerine. I think it really suprised us both! We also agreed to tighten the springs for a small additional charge and move from the traditional 3 cushion couch to a bench seat. (much more comfortable for napping!) Sim noted a particular date that I wanted to try to have the couch back and Hanny called to arrange for deliver on the exact date. The couch is absolutely beautiful.

The couch has extremely ornate wood carving and I noticed a slight scrape on the top of the couch. Sim was extremely responsive - he came out to my apartment on the day I called and not only fixed the scratched, but polished the entire top of the couch.

The professionalism and customer service I experienced with Hanny and Sim was exceptional. Even the delivery guys were all smiles while delivering my couch in a rainstorm.

I would highly recommend MOD restoration for any reupholstereing needs.

Excellent Experience. We got 6 dining chairs repaired and reupholstered. Sim came to our house with a lot of fabric samples and was very helpful in choosing the right fabric.

When they opened the chairs they found that the wood was decayed, and replaced it for us free of charge.

The job was very well done and the service was friendly and prompt. I recommend them very highly.

Excellent Service and Quality Work. We needed to have a reclining sofa repaired and were able to get convenient, evening appointments right before Christmas and right before New Year's Eve. The high piled snow didn't even stop Sim from getting to us. He is professional and friendly and the quality of his work is excellent.

I would tell everyone to make sure MOD Restoration is their first call when in need of repairs.

Great furniture cleaning service!. I needed to steam clean a vintage sofa, which had old food stains that I left seating for 2 years....was very nervous about it coming off after all this time. No worries...they came off thanks to Sim!

I would recommend MOD to everyone ...they are just great!

Would use them next time for restoration.
