very cheap, you get what you pay for.
I went with my friend as a birthday gift. It is not clean looking, a bit run down and it doesn't look like they change out their water more than once a day even though they are open until 12AM. Sunday was very busy and I saw white foam in the hot jacuzzi water. You know, the kind where when you take a shower and your dead skin cells kind of foam up at the end of the drain? Also, there were stains on some of the "clean" towels. However, all the saunas were very nice and so was the cold tub... compared to everything else.
Overall, customer service was horrible. We pre-ordered a $50 sauna day with 1 hr massage and scheduled it to be done at 3pm for my friend and I at the same time. We got there at 1pm and was enjoying the saunas. When it came to be 3pm we went up to the receptionist and asked about the massage. She told us the masseuses were running late and that it will begin at 3:30pm. They also told us to relax and stop stressing, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't stressing and I was just asking a simple question. 3:30pm comes along and we ask about our massages. They tell us that there was only one masseuse working today, so we can't have the massage at the same time. So, I had to wait an hour for my friend's massage to be done. I was tired and wanted to go home. So I told them I rather not get my massage done. My friend (who didn't enjoy her massage because the only one masseuse they had was over worked and it affected the quality of the massage) asked the receptionist that we wanted to go home and we waited enough for massages. She asked her if we could possibly just take out the massage price which was 20 bucks and deduct part of our $34 dollar meal payment instead. My friend said that she would still tip the 20 dollars to the masseuse.
The receptionist started yelling at my friend and I saying that we couldn't cancel just because I had a bad mood and didn't feel like getting a massage. My friend tried to reason with her in a calm voice, but the receptionist said that the only option was for me to pay an extra 30 dollar sauna use fee and give my $50 groupon of sauna use and 1hr massage to someone else. I told her I don't know anyone else that would want to use it. (Honestly, I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone I knew.)
She started yelling out loud that the customer is not always right. and that she was right and we were wrong. So, at that moment I had enough. I said that she was right and we were wrong and that she is perfect in every way just to shut her up. I paid her the full $34 dollar meal so that we could leave faster, but She continued to try to explain why we were wrong for me not wanting a massage and blaming groupon's troubles that she had faced on to us. I literally lost it at that point and I screamed "Didn't I just say I will pay for all of this? Obviously we disagree with how this is all being handled. What is there to explain to us? We are not satisfied and you are not willing to compromise." I also told her we will not come back again. She told me good! don't ever come back! and yelled at us to get out of the building.
