can be a little seedy so it's not the most pleasant shoppping experience
deals >>. always GOOD DEALS :)
cute stuff!!. they have a nice selection of cute clothes and items you need for your everyday life i use to live in this place when my son was a newborn i never forget the baby Aile section has everything you can possibly think of lol :)
I usually don't go out to this Target, but from the few times that I have I've had a decent experience. Staff seems knowledgeable about where things are-- the few times that I've asked for help finding something or getting a price for an unticketed item, staff has always been very helpful.
Another thing I like about this Target is its food section. It is insanely extensive. Not only is this the only Target I'm aware of that carries Asian products (like Pocky Sticks and soba noodles), it was one of the first of all the Targets to open a supermarket.
One more plus about this store is that it's nowhere near as hectic and crazy as the Target out at Atlantic Terminal. I've rarely seen the type of lines here that I see there. The one time I did, management immediately opened more lines.
The only negative is the bicycle section. I've been recently checking out all the Targets for a new bicycle and it seems as if the assembly is poor at this particular store. I tested out a few of the bikes and they each had minor issues. I suppose that's to be expected with any big box, but having gotten a perfectly assembled Schwinn Ranger from the Atlantic Terminal market several years ago I can tell you that Target usually does an okay job with assembly. Inventory in terms of bikes also seems to be weaker at this store here. My advice is that if you're looking for a bike to buy at any Target, you're better off going to the one at either Gateway or Atlantic Terminal. If you do decide to come here, ride around a bit ona bike you're interested in, inspect the gears and everything else-- especially if you intend on riding the bike home.
Disgusting customer service - Absolutely pathetic.
So, my wife and I are expecting and naturally are purchasing a lot of - as well as having family purchase a lot of - baby items from various stores. Until recently, we bought a lot of items from Target. However, it is a disgusting store to deal with and I would rather pay a little more and shop locally than save a little and be treated like crap.
Long story short, after a $200 chair I ordered from Target arrived broken, I returned it to the store which did not have a replacement and could not get one. So, I had to go to the website and reorder it. Somehow, shipping came out the $35, which I paid because it was the only way to get the chair again. About 20 minute passed after the second time I ordered the chair and I was boiling about having to waste shipping money AGAIN - not to mention its overpriced shipping. I called Target and only after about an hour on the phone, reaching the supervisor, and resorting to various threats to write reviews like this and stop shopping at Target did the supervisor FINALLY agree to refund me $35 - to arrive by gift card in 7-10 business days. That was over 25 days ago and NOTHING has arrived. Luckily I thought ahead and figured this would happen, so I had the idiot from who knows where in the world confirm by email while I was still on the phone that I would get the gift card.
I called again last week because it hadn't arrived - no luck. Their brilliant answer was to wait a little longer because it might just be late.
Now, I'm again currently on the phone, have been for about 30-45 minutes. First person I called, put me on hold for about 15 minutes after I asked for a supervisor - so I had to hang up and call back. Second person also put me on hold and its utterly shocking that this is so difficult. It looks right now that another person may be processing the refund, which I may receive - but no guarantees.
Lesson 1: DON'T SHOP AT TARGET - disgusting customer service and they could not care less that they are pissing you off by putting you on hold.
Lesson 2: If you are unfortunate to shop at Target and have this same kind of piss-poor treatment, MAKE SURE that you require the idiot you speak with to confirm everything by an email that you receive prior to getting off of the phone. At least this way they can't lie to you as well - which they will try to do.
CitySearch should allow zero or negative ratings. It sucks that there is no real recourse.
DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR!!!!!. TARGET HEADQUARTERS' # TO COMPLAIN (612) 304-6073. I am pregnant. Spent 2 hours going through the FILTHY STORE picking out POORLY STOCKED SHELVES. Before checkout, needed to use the restroom, as most pregnant women frequently do. Left full cart by the door, as you cannot take it in the restroom with you. Came out and it was gone. Asked to speak to a manager, who's name was Yustoff, to help find my cart. He randomly asked a few of the INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES if they had taken the cart, and all said no. He said that it should be in customer service, but I was in customer service. He said he was not responsible for unpaid items left unattended. He then told me I should have asked an INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEE to watch it for me, and basicly it was my fault for leaving it because I had to use the restroom. What was even more UNPROFESSIONAL FOR A MANAGER, he actually had a security guard circling me while I spoke to him, as if I were a threat. It is very clear that staff and management do not care about their customers, they only care about their paychecks. I have never been treated like this by any store or management, and will never return!!!
