A new neighborhood institution. Very tasty and fresh food, rustic ambiance, lovely garden seating, pretty friendly and fast service all bring my husband and I here regularly (as well as celebrating a group birthday there too). We are very glad to have Saraghina in Bed-Stuy.

New York City’s gourmet pizza explosion booms in Bed-Stuy, where Italian owners Edoardo Mantelli and Massimiliano Nanni have unveiled a pizzeria in a sprawling corner location outfitted with rustic vintage goods (think ancient telephones, bygone kitchen equipment and old signage). The old-style decor complements the classic, Neapolitan-style pies cooked in a wood-burning oven, whose fragrance perfumes the laid-back space. The pizzas are paired with a rotating selection of salads, as well as sliced meats and gobs of great cheese.
