Poor Customer Service!. I am commenting on his customer service skills and nothing else, which he clearly has none of. I purchased an Aveda Hair product, (Control Paste) from the salon and wished to return it. After telling him the product has a strong odor (a nauseating smell), he suggested that I was Pregnant and maintained that "I should go and get myself checked" before quickly turning his back and walking away. I am not, nor was I ever pregnant. His insinuations are appalling and leaves me to wonder if he treats his other customers in such a disrespectful and distasteful manner.

Beautiful Environment, Aveda + Levi Peterson!. In January of this year, Levi moved to Wayne Agassi's Salon & Spa in Brooklyn. And, I would follow him to the ends of the earth.

After a few years of dissatisfied salon-jumping, I happened into an Aveda salon in Park Slope (recently closed). Traumatized from my last salon visit (some pricey Manhattan joint), I'll admit that I wasn't warm and fuzzy on that first day. However, I think I may have actually vowed to carry his children before I left. That was January 2002. Levi has been the only person to touch my hair in 8-years.

I have impossible, naturally-curly hair. His understanding of color (especially Aveda) is masterful. He ALWAYS gives a great cut. Straight, curly, long or short, I've seen him work each of them beautifully over the years.

Levi has earned a loyal following. Keeping it in the neighborhood to remain close to his clientele, he has recently moved to Wayne Agassi's Aveda Salon and Spa. I write this review not only for Levi, but as an endorsement for his new digs. This new Aveda salon is gorgeous. The services and the staff are wonderful and accommodating. The prices are in-line with what is expected for upscale Brooklyn, but considerably less than Manhattan. When I go to see Levi, it is rarely a quick affair (my process takes a few hours), which means I have a little downtime while I cook. Environment during these times is a pretty important detail. This beautiful new concept salon brings a calming sense of the Zen one expects from an Aveda experience.

I highly recommend both Levi and Wayne Agassi's Aveda Salon and Spa. Exceptional, all the way around.
