Very Professional and Excellent Work – I have a Sony Vaio Laptop that stopped working and I was told that it wasn't worth fixing by another computer tech. My daughter felt sorry for me so she gave me her gateway laptop. After 6 months of using her laptop I decided that I should buy my own and give back the Gateway to her. I missed my Sony laptop and I wanted another Sony but I needed help in choosing the right one to suit my needs. Andy Alvarado was recommended by a colleague. Andy was helping me choose the right laptop and I told him about my broken Sony laptop. He said he would take a look and see if anything could be done for it. I did not know whether or not it was worth fixing. Andy took the laptop with him and called to tell me that he could fix it and it was definitely worth fixing. I decided to have him fix it and It was ready in couple of days. Fast Service. I am so impressed with his work and his professionalism. Last but not least I love my Sony laptop and I am so happy I can use it again. Incidentally, I asked him to upgrade the the Gateway computer that belongs to my daughter and he also fixed my sister-in-law's Dell laptop. Both laptops work better then before. I would not hesitate to call him and recommend him for any computer issue.
Thanks so much for everything. The network was down. Access to the server and the internet were down. You had to troubleshoot and discovered the switch had to be replaced. Also, cables/connections were not labelled properly. You fixed that. Now every device is working. You also were working under time constraints, as we are an accounting firm with deadlines due in two days. Time was of the essence and you came out short notice on a Saturday!
Thanks so much. Well done!
The save the most important thing my data – I so happy i have my data back, no one else did the job, they said we can't fix it and my friend told me about Crc-computer and i gave them a call they said yes no problem, i ask question and they really know what they doing, i am so happy they fix my laptop and get my data back. very profesional.
Thanks so much.
Worse Off after Slow Service – I was having an error associated with Windows 7. An error popup was being generated every time Windows tried to make an image thumbnail. This was very annoying, but I could still work.
I gave my computer to Andy (CRC's owner) and asked for a quote. He was over two hours late in picking the unit up the first day, but hey - free pickup, right?
Andy offered to get rid of the issue, and calibrate my system's components to work better. I had to pry several times to get him to explain this second part. Sounded like he wanted to install some drivers and adjust some settings. I agreed to pay him $210 to do so.
Andy was three days late in returning my computer the first time. I have an old laptop that serves as my secondary work computer, but not having my primary was very difficult.
When Andy returned my computer, he powered it on, and it froze right after Windows loaded. This raised an alarm bell, but it seemed to work fine when restarted. I told him I'd call if the freeze happened again.
After several days of freezing and many calls to Andy's voicemail, Andy eventually came and picked up my computer again. He had it several days longer than he promised and was hours late in dropping it off. He thought the problem was in the USB wireless card I was using, so he gave me a free one - I think because he knew how frustrated I had become.
My computer is still freezing after Andy returned it this second time, and Andy has become increasingly unresponsive. I waited half the day at home for him today, and after my third attempt to reach him on the phone, he told me he hadn't ever *confirmed* he would be by to pick it up. I told him I'd cut my losses and find someone who could fix the error he started.
Now I'm out $210 and am losing work regularly due to complete system freezes. I strongly advise against CRC Computer.
