Affordable business wear from a quirky British designer.. Leave it to Paul Smith to do business clothes for the grown-up hipster. The English designer does career basics with a wink better than anyone and at his Brooklyn outpost everything from ties to suits runs about half off, though you wouldn’t think it from how stylish it all is. The boutique doesn’t leave the ladies out, either--Smith’s women’s line, with lighter-than-air dresses and adorable socks, makes its presence known as well. The chatty shop assistants and Brooklyn-themed books and games for sale in the back of the shop encourage a neighborhood feel.
