Just completed my second move with these guys, and both experiences were stellar. Each time, the movers arrived early, whereupon they quickly surveyed the apartment to formulate a plan of attack. During the actual loading/unloading process, they moved quickly, carefully, and efficiently. Both times, it took only 1.5 to 2 hours to completely load a single bedroom apartment into the truck before hitting the road--and another 1.5 to 2 hours to unload upon arrival at the new apartment.

My first move went so well that when I called them up to help me move a second time. Highly recommended to all. new york van lines are good.

From start to finish this company was awesome!!!!. Everyone i spoke to from new york van lines was always polite and helpful. If you and your family are relocating don't pass up this company. I will always refer and use this company to my family and friends. Thanks again for all of your help in a stressful time of moving across country.

One of the worst companies ever. We have moved several times but never had such a negative experience. Do not bring your business to them. They are a joke. Their so called binding estimate was not binding everyday was a surprise. The big guy (professional - not even for a second) came and walked and oh...he just forgot to give the estimate until guess what I followed up a zillion times. The so called binding estimate is a complete lie. They tripped it for me. after putting all my stuff on the truck....goods will not move at that price..they move at 3 times that price! And they are never on time. They will always blow up your time schedule and will not cal you/ have the courtesy to inform you even after they are late.

What an irony that they write complete lies on their website. Nothing like what we experienced. Quoting from their website..."After an initial survey of the goods to be moved, our professional estimators provide you with a binding estimate of cost. You can be assured that those goods will be moved at that price. New York Van Lines prides itself on being on time and on budget."

And beware of the lady that goes by the name Lisa in the office...who calls herself a staff, a manager, a supervisor and a bull dog!. Yes she is. She will bark at you. Did I not mention that they know no customer service!

Very Poor. First of all they low ball the initial offer for you to sign up. Then the pickup guys eat our food without even asking, and they charge for packing that should have been included. If that's not enough, they ask for 10% tip on Total Amount!!

People on the phone are a disaster. Lisa is extremely rude and not cooperative at all. Jennifer made false promises and then charged for services not agreed earlier. Both of them play manager if you ask for one. Its not just about money because my company paid, but its about the poor work ethics of these people. Our bill came out 3X of the initial estimate. Very dissatisfied customer.

Thank God i finally found a decent mover. They were on time, professional and fairly priced. The rep answered all my questions and went over everything to the last detail. it rained on pick up day but it was no problem they worked around the weather and even wore booties on their feet to keep from getting my floor dirty. I appreciate the extra effort.

NEW YORK VAN LINES IS GREAT. FOR MY MOVE FROM JERSEY CITY TO GEORGIA, I WENT ONLINE AND REQUESTED SOME ESTIMATES. A BUNCH OF MOVING COMPANIES CALLED ME BACK BUT NEW YORK VAN LINE WAS THE BEST PICK. I SPOKE WITH THE SALES AGENT CHRISTINA, WHO WAS WONDERFUL AND EXPLAINED EACH AND EVERY DETAIL OF THE PRICING AGREEMENT WITH ME BEFORE I MADE ANY DECISIONS. AFTER I DECIDED TO USE THEM, I THEN DEALT WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT, JENNIFER, WHO ACCOMMODATED ME IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. MY NEW PLACE WAS NOT YET READY IN GEORGIA, SO THEY HELP MY STUFF IN A STORAGE UNIT FOR A WHOLE MONTH....FOR FREE.....GREAT! AS FAR AS THE MOVERS AND FOREMAN, WELL THEY ARRIVED JUST A TAD BIT LATE BECAUSE OF TRAFFIC, BUT I HAD NO WORRIES BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT JENNIFER CONTACTED AHEAD OF TIME TO LET ME KNOW THIS. AS SOON AS THE GUYS GOT HERE, THEY GOT RIGHT ON THE JOB. THEY PACKED EVERYTHING VERY PROFESSIONALLY AND LOADED THE TRUCK IN A TIMELY MANNER, THEY WERE ALSO VERY COURTEOUS WITH SOME EXTRA STUFF THAT I WANTED TO THROW OUT, THEY DID IT FOR ME. I WOULD FOR SURE RECOMMEND ANYONE TO NEW YORK VAN LINE FOR A MOVE.... GREAT PRICE...GREAT BUSINESS!!!!

Relentless search!!. Search multiple internet directories responsible moving companies, I found many, but not had the courage to choose any so I chose the company that had more reviews.

The company had more good reviews was New York Van Lines.

Now I want to recommend New York Van Lines.

They provide very good service guaranteed.

look in the local newspaper found several companies but did not have any references.

Search the Internet and found E & J Moving and is the best references I had, look in several directories and yellow pages.

Hire your service and I am happy for the service you have given me.

Excellent Moving Services... I just completed a move E & J MOVERS and I couldn't be happier with the service they provided. It's a small company, but that only makes their customer service and attention to detail more remarkable. They provided me with an easy move at a really low cost. JONH(the foreman)was well-prepared, friendly, and efficient. I spoke with both ROSA and LISA on the phone and they were easy to understand and gave me a reliable estimate.

I would definitely move with E & J Moving again and have already recommended them to my friend.
