Very experienced hairdresser. Well in a couple of words, Mario Avila happens to be the best hair dresser i've ever met. He is very experienced as well as enthusiastic when it comes to doing hair and that is the best combination. Every time he does my hair i leave happy and more than satisfied. Moreover, there is no doubt that he is the man to go to, to get your hair done. hes the best!:)

THE BEST!. I have been to the "best salons" and guess what Mario is better than anyone I have gone to. I walked around with purple hair that was supposed to be red. Every hairdresser mad it worse. In a couple of hours with Mario it was fixed. He is great at hairsytling and color.

He has even don updos on me. He is also so NICE. I mean it GO TO Mario.

Without a doubt. I have been going to Mario since 2001 and have to say he has become not just my hairstylist but a friend. I have seen him style all types, lengths, textures of hair and he has always done an amazing job. He is not a cookie cutter stylist - he takes the time to figure out what is best for the customer in both care, style and look. I would recommend him without hesitation

Multitalented Hairstylist!. He is a multitalented hairstylist who is able to transform your dull lackluster hair to a beautiful hairstyle suitable for your face while entertaining you with his insightful observations on life. He is empathetic, very knowledgeable on all subjects and is always willing to listen to his client's concerns. Mario is innovative, a color master and treats his clients with patience, good humor and his complete attention. You leave Mario's chair transformed and renewed. There is no one like Mario!

don't miss Mario!. Mario was one of the first, and definitely one of the best things I discovered when I moved to Brooklyn ten years ago. I've never gone to another hairdresser in that time, and I don't plan to. He makes my hair look better than anybody who has ever cut it, and he is delightful in the process.

Prices are very reasonable, and Studio Feyzura is a really pleasant place to spend time. Check it out!

A master at his craft.. What is there to say, all the reviews say exactly what I would say myself. Mario is an excellent stylist and colorist. I had been hopping around stylist for years until I found him and will not go to anyone one else ever again.

Mario the best hairstylist.. Mario is a great and talented person. I love Mario very much because he always makes miracles with my hair. I know Mario for about 8 years and I always go to Mario to get my hair color, cut and he always gives me a new style.

All I can Say is that he is very good at his work and to proof it now my 4 sister my mother and some friends go to Mario. I highly recommend Mario.

A Fabulous Artist With Hair. The most accurate thing I can say about Mario Avila is that he's the best thing that ever happened to my hair! I met him years ago and was very lucky to have done so. Actually, I'd been told about another person at the studio at which he used to work, but when I told her what I wanted she said, "Oh, you should go to Mario. He's the best at that." So I sat in his chair and have been sitting in his chair ever since. At first I just wanted a nice cut for my very unruly hair, and when I walked out of the salon I was more than satisfied. Not only did Mario do that for me, he also told me exactly what to do to maintain it. Over the years I've had my hair colored and highlighted and more -- he never pushed anything but always suggested when I questioned. The best moment came when I wanted "something special" for my son's wedding. Wow! He really came through for me.

Add to all that Mario's wonderful personality. He's personable and funny. Every session with Mario is a good time with great results. You can't go wrong with Mario Avila.

Extremely talented and knowledgeable in his craft. Although Mario has not done my hair he is incredibly talented and works magic on his clients. I was able to observe him one day and was witness to the before and after of his clients hair. The way they looked afterwards was amazing, I was very impressed. In addition my friend who has been with Mario for several years was transformed incredibly she was someone who only colored her hair jet black now she has a gorgeous color designed by Mario, which leads me into my story. I also was fortunate that Mario consulted with my hairdresser on my haircolor which was a beautiful chocolate brown everyone of my friends and family loved it and so did I. He is awesome.

Love MARIO and would follow him anywhere :). I was recommended to Mario through a woman I met at the WAT gym; she'd had her color done and it looked absolutely great and was telling other friends in the locker room about her stylist and I was looking to change stylists and needed a good coloring so I asked!! So glad I did!

That was back in 2006 and he's been my go-to man ever since. Mario is wonderful and I've enjoyed him since we met. Highlights, blow-outs, single color (yes, got to cover my few greys!), cuts, and even this year we did a Keratin treatment which was great. I l always leave him looking great - wish I could take him with me to keep up the look!!! I have VERY long hair, and he manages it beautifully. He listens, he recommends, he performs. And he's got a great personality with a good sense of humor. If you are looking for someone to treat you right, see Mario...
