Brooklyn >
Wi-Pie Pizzeria
I believe the store is based on convenience not quality.
This is one of the most intolerable pizzerias I have ever been to in the heights. My soda tasted very flat even though I ordered a coke from the fountain. My pizza tasted really stale, it tasted as though it was sitting around and not fresh. I tried the coffee it was cold and cost me $2.00
I would never come back here rather go to my little pizza on state st or Antonio's on 32 Court street they are both awesome places avoid this dump its not worth the money.
It gave me a belly ache for a day.
Truly awful.
My office just moved into the downtown Brooklyn area so I have been scouting for lunch places. I had yen for pizza so I searched for pizzarias in the area. This one had really good reviews. So I went today. I ordered a chicken parmigiana hero. The chicken was hard and dry and the sauce tasted like something Ragu would not stick in a jar. And the pizza looked like it was sitting around for days; it had that fake plastic pizza look to it.
The area restaurants are usually packed at lunchtime but this place was suspiciously empty. And this is strange since there is a college right across the street. It should be packed with college kids that don't know any better. But apparently, they do.
Avoid this place. Total waste of money.
decent pizza but service slow. The pizza was decent but for a long line it took 45 min to get my order I was really hungry this place is only good if you are nearby and don't mind waiting. It worked for the college kids who are across the street but not me sorry about that.
Not what I hoped it would be!. Iam sorry to say this but this pizzeria is not what I hoped it would be. I have been hanging out in brooklyn heights for years have a friend who lives down the street from the place. The pizza tasted horrid and when I ordered a coffee it felt like there was too much milk in it. This reason they do well is because of the college students across the street or otherwise they wouldn't make it. I went in with a friend to give the pizza a chance despite warnings from the residents that they were closed by the health dept for not keeping clean last Wednesday. I feel bad because I gave the place a chance and it didn't do it for me next time will go to fascatis on Henry street we've been there before.
Nice Pizza. I love their pizza sauce, it makes their pizza really stand out. I highly recommned trying the personal pies
