Brooklyn >Dino Restaurant
it's simply one of the best restaurants period. You are welcomed by a wonderful staff, which is very attentive, but not pushy.
Owners are super friendly!
Me and my husband, we have been here couple of times now with and without friends; and every time, it gets better and better.
Lemon Butter Linguine, Steak Arugula Salad and the Risotto are some of my favorites and BLT on the brunch menu is excellent as well!
In DINO You will get food that leaves an impression and an experience that will keep you coming back....Perfect!!!"
Another jewel comes to Fort Greene!.
Simply put, this place is amazing!
I come here pretty often for brunch and dinner and am never let down by this place. The food is always consistent, with fresh ingredients and simple, yet solid dishes. The squid ink pasta w/calamari is absolutely amazing and their homemade tiramisu is one of the best you'll ever have, no exaggeration.
As for the staff, one couldn't ask for a friendlier, more knowledgeable group to when going out for a nice dining experience. Any time I ask for a wine recommendation, the server or bartender is quick to offer a very helpful suggestion. I have yet to be let down by any of their suggestions on drinks or food. My only gripe is they don't have enough beers on tap for my taste, but it's a cozy place, so the space just may not be available.
Coming here, one can really tell how much effort and passion has been put into making this place run as if it were years old, even though it's only been in the neighborhood for a couple months.
great local place. stumbled on the poor review while researching dino's reservation policy. I feel compelled to comment. i'm really surprised by the unhappy diner's response. i live two blocks down from dino's and have been there three times now--once for lunch, once for dinner, and once for a drink. i've had a great experience each time, and am happy to have another good restaurant option so close by, especially when friends and family are visiting. The staff is always engaging and the food was spot-on. I'm a professional chef and easily frustrated by restaurant food, but i've been pleased with all of their offerings. will continue to go back until i have reason not to. I feel like the first reviewer just had an unusually terrible experience, which is a shame.
Don't Waste Your Time. Simply put: you do not need to try Dino. We went on a Sunday evening at 8:00 pm. The music was blasting. The bartender was doing a floor show. We ordered two simple pasta dishes. One came out 10 minutes before the other. Both were undercooked. And the "rock shrimp" was still frozen. We would have sent our dishes back if the servers would have bothered to ask us how our meal was.
