Neighborhood Gem!. This place is a neighborhood gem. Great soda fountain counter that is packed (especially on the weekends) with all sorts of people, all ages. Saturday mornings they 'import' donuts from Peter Pan Donuts in Greenpoint. Get there early, I came in last week and they were sold out. :( Great staff, friendly and super cute. The shelves are stocked with all sorts of Brooklyn-based food products like jams, pickles, sauces. I tried the 'Pink Poodle' (Hibiscus soda and a scoop of vanilla) and my date had the 'Orange Whip' (orange soda, fresh whipped cream-think creamsicle!)

Delicious and beautifully presented! We're going back!

Great Local Soda Fountain for Brooklyn. "Farmacy" and Soda Fountain is a new take on a classic type of establishment. Their motto is "fresh, friendly, and local", selling syrups, coffee, and other goods made from fellow New Yorkers. They're community oriented with a friendly staff. Great selection of ice cream sundaes, specialty sodas, and egg creams! Some pastries and light sandwiches are available as well. Try the Rocket, coffee ice cream shake with ice coffee instead of milk, a pick-me-up worthy of a true pharmacy. Nice decor, has a timeless quality. Worth a visit.
