Citysearch Editorial Review.
On car-crazed Atlantic Avenue, a former auto garage is reborn as a roomy, rustic craft-beer hangout. Gone are oil stains, replaced by lacquered wood floors, vintage light-up signs and, recalling the space’s gritty past, exposed ductwork and old industrial gewgaws and gadgets. On fair-weather afternoons, the garage doors go up, leading to a field of picnic tables packed with Brooklynites kicking back. To drink? Plenty of bourbons, as well as a dozen estimable microbrews (including Pretty Things, Nectar Ales and Sixpoint).
