Citysearch Editorial Review. Where Park Slope bottoms out into industrial Gowanus, you’ll find this improbable bar, located near a combo Taco Bell-Pizza Hut. But there’s nothing cookie cutter about this eclectic neighborhood saloon (from the crew at Carroll Gardens’ Abilene), which is outfitted with church-pew banquettes, funky light fixtures and kitschy artwork. As is the current craze, the dozen drafts lean local (Southern Tier, Sixpoint, Blue Point), while the weekends feature pint-size bloody marys and, depending on the season, sangria and hot rum cider.
