Love this place!. After visiting numerous nurseries and plant stores throughout the neighborhoods (from Red Hook to Brooklyn Heights), we found that Botanica is by far the most reasonably priced and friendly place there is. The selection is fantastic and the staff are helpful. Not only did they offer FREE delivery (which seems unheard of these days), they also gave us a ride home with our plants. We'll be back!

Great selection, good prices, friendly service. The owner & staff are wonderful - very friendly and helpful. We got our Christmas tree there this past winter and I've bought plants there in the warm-weather months since. The prices are reasonable and competitive, if not exactly cheap (this is Brownstone Brooklyn after all). All in all they will do whatever they can to meet your needs.

Really nice store; great customer service. I went to Botanica a couple weeks ago in search of garden containers, after not finding anything I liked at my local hardware stores. They had a great selection of both containers and plants, and the service was, as noted in other reviews, exceptional. The staff was very helpful without being intrusive. The owner was nice enough to drill holes in one of the containers for me, and gave me a lift home with the containers. The experience harkened from an era when customer service meant something. A completely lovely, pleasant, neighborhood shopping experience.

Best overall garden store in Brooklyn. I'm an avid gardener and shop frequently at all the large nuseries - Kings, Gowanus, Chelsea Garden and it is far and away the best garden shopping experience. It's small but concise with a great inventory. If they don't have it, they'll get it. The staff and service could not be better. Nice backyard with great assortment of plants and containers. The prices were reasonable and they even delivered the same day. HIGHLY recommended!

Wow! Best Quality + Incredible Service. I just move to Brooklyn and made the mistake of ordering a ficus tree online from a well-known Manhattan spot. I returned the sad specimen and was told by a local to try two spots on Atlantic: Dig and Botanica. I went to Dig, which was a bit too Grey Gardens for my taste and the plants didn't look well cared for. Walking into Botanica was an incredible breath of fresh air. The place itself is bright, clean and well-organized and the back garden is wonderful. Antonio, the incredibly kind, attentive, service-oriented person who helped me, sold me an absolutely gorgeous, exceptionally healthy ficus for the same price as the dismal, dying, poor-quality one I purchased from the Manhattan place online. Antonio also took a lot of time with me to help select a beautiful ceramic pot to house the tree and gave me tips for keeping the tree looking great. He re-potted the tree and within one hour, it was delivered to me free of charge by another super-helpful member of the Botanica staff, who gave me more care tips. After never commenting on City Search before, I signed up today for the sole reason of giving credit to Botanica for its unusual excellence. I have never had a better experience anywhere, EVER. Thank you, Botanica, and thank you, Antonio! I will never go anywhere else.

Great new plant shop!. Great new plant shop in the neighborhood. The staff is very helpful and the selection is great. I will definitely be returning for all my gardening needs. Don't miss their big backyard too!

Best Plant Shop in the Neighborhood!. After searching for a plant shop in the hood and going to many in Boerum Hill & Cobble Hill I have finally found the one.

Botanica has the best selection of plants and a large variety too. I have compared prices all over the hood and they have the best.

Their plants are beautiful, and they have all types of pots for planting.

I refuse to go anywhere else.

Oh, did I mention how nice and helpful they are?!

You can find them on Atlantic between 3rd and 4th.

Fabulous new garden center. This friendly new store has the biggest selection of plants and pots in the neighborhood. In the backyard there's everything you need for planting outdoors this spring. I also found they have some exotic plants that you don't see elsewhere. The store is very convenient, just around the corner from the Atlantic Terminal.
