Most Amazing Kid's Store in New York City and Brooklyn. The owners of this great store are really the heart and soul of what can only be described as a "one of the coolest" children's stores I have ever shopped at. The staff are always friendly and know so much about the products they sell. They have classic family fun movies and games for the kids to watch and play while you shop and the prices are fantastic. My wife and made the trip out to this store (we live in the city) because they are only place in the whole tri-state area that carry a brand of sneakers from Europe that we love for our daughter. We ended buying a rain coat, several shirts, 3 pairs of shoes, a jacket, and some toys and games that turned out to be our daughters favorite. And the staff even gave us a small discount on some of the items when we asked because we got so much stuff! We are planning a trip out during there spring sale coming up. if you have the chance you have to check it out. Happy Shopping!
Citysearch Editorial Review. Smoochie Baby is a gem amidst the condos-in-progress area of Williamsburg, brightening the neighborhood with a selection of eclectic, high-end baby goods. The shop carries pint-sized ensembles for les enfants en vogue, and none of the typical cutesy, plastic junk. Wooden, classic-leaning toys and rocker gear can be found on shelves and racks lining the walls of the lime green punctured space. Popular items include Kingsley T-shirts, fully functional mini electric guitars ($100) and books like “The Punk Alphabet." The owners are a fashionable Canadian couple who think dressing kids should be fun; and when you can deck them out in Creative Recreation kicks, Joe’s Jeans and fedoras, it certainly is.
