Citysearch Editorial Review.
Though the brick walls and gleaming wood floors of this spacious Smith Street bistro scream “Brooklyn modern,” it actually focuses on rustic French cookery such as homemade pork pate and chunks of thick, chewy bread served with ramekins of luscious pork fat. If swine’s not your bag, the abbreviated seasonal menu includes items like wild boar sausage spiked with mustard seeds, arugula salad with lentils and preserved lemons and a rotating fish of the day. For dessert? Creme caramel made with bay leaves and homemade fromage blanc served with berries and honey.
